Thick, sturdy pot!
This pot is a good size, large but not so big that you can't carry it when full. It is also a good weight with thick bottom and sides.

Great Aluminum pot, NO LID INCLUDED
This is a great stock pot, but first, understand that there is NO LID included. The description does mention this fact, and there is no indication that a lid is included, either in pictures or text. However, it never even occurred to me that someone would sell a stock pot without a lid, and I was surprised it didn't have one in the box when I opened it up. Looking back at the ad, I was just flat surprised. Nothing against this seller, but without a lid, this is not the great deal I thought it was. To pick up the matching lid is almost another $20, and that makes the pot far more comparable to other options where the lid is included.That much out of the way, there really can be no complaint here. This thing is very well constructed, the walls are thick and the handles are sturdy.

Taller than the in picture, Heavy and Thick.
Well the picture shows a wide short pot. But the product Dimensions reveal how big the pot actually is. Because I live in an apartment and have my microwave above my oven I did measure first, and good news it does fit. It's really thick and heavy. Surprisingly easy to clean. However after my first used I found that the sides and bottom is pitted in the bottom portion of the pot. I boiled a turky carcass along with some veggies, for about 2 hours the first night and continued to boil the same batch for about 6 hours the next day. I strained and boiled my stock to reduce for a more intense flavor, for prob. another hour. So I took 2 stars off for the pitting. All in all I am happy to finally have a large, sturdy, pot to make bone broth in.

I really like the quality of this stock pot. It is heavy duty and will last me a long time. Good heat distribution.
