Can a story be this great! This leaves me in a state of ecstacy. I could not help but smile wide on these stories. This is much more beautiful than the stories are ever meant to be. This is masterful, wonderful and glorious. All of the stories are similar in nature to the ones my grandmother used to recite to me in my younger days. Infact, i imagine myself reciting these stories to my grandchildren in my older days. The stories are full of moral lessons and wisdom. They provide us an insight into a great deal of deep thinking about topics that have confused humankind for long such as religious mortality, nature of God, existence of God, etc. He has produced a true kind of literary masterpiece. It has got so many generas, the stories as wise, funny, scary and full of life lessons. One of the stories includes an attempt to answer existential questions through being a part of a higher plan. Tolstoy moves through these tough topics such as God, Morality, and existentialism easily by giving examples, metaphors and analogies

One of the wisest buys from my recent shopping spree, was to buy this book. Unbeknownst to Russian authors and literature, this not only provides a great insight into the country's literary movement but welcomes you inside he mind of one of the greatest authors who ever lived- Leo Tolstoy! The book is hard to put down. Every story has a great moral, one that you are not bound to forget. A must-buy for all

Stories: There is nothing much to say here, its Leo Tostoy and the stories are very interesting and well written. No complaints on stories here. Book: The binding on the book seems solid and the cover material is strong enough to hold against the test of time, and the guilded design is asthetically pleasing too. The book is very solid and is really light weight. - my only complaint is that the pages are a little bit thinner than usual novels (just a little bit). I got it on a sale for 200 rupees. But given the quality of the book, it is a steal for 499 rupees.

These short stories book is very interesting. Who started reading books. Better to choose your favourite genere or short stories.

Tolstoy's super craftsmanship of story writing is beyond words. Godliness in human beings is the best expressed. A storyteller beyond words👌

This was a nice compilation, or Tolstoy works that I really enjoyed reading. It was nice to come across it as a selection.

The book arrived in excellent condition. However the translation is very childish. I have read other translated works but this one didn't hit the mark.

I would like to recommend anybody to read this short story by Tolstoy.

I really love Leo's books many years ago i did read some of his books, but not short stories.

Quite a lot of detail .Stories contained were not exactly my cup of tea.
