I have a Skar VD12 along with a Boss R1100M amp. This is a great box for beginners or just needing to save some space. The bass is good, and loud at 50hz, but once you get into the 30's you can't even hear it. Definitely good quality build, terminal cups are pretty cheap though. All around a good price for what it is.

La calidad del material me gustó muchísimo, como dije, no soy nada pro pero suena genial. El precio podría mejorar creo...

I was a bit hesitant about the box when I first ordered it, seeing how it was one of the cheapest I could find; however, I decided to go for it and order it in. I have to say that any negative feelings I had were unwarranted. The box is very clean, with no sawdust or grit left over from the factory (a mistake too many enclosure-makers make). The carpet is firmly glued-on the whole way around, and it has a very quality feel. Even though the box is almost half as slim as my old traditional-depth box, it does not slide around. In terms of sound, it's awesome; it makes my 12-inch Pioneer TS-SW3001S4 12-Inch Shallow Step Up S4 Subwoofer sound like a cannon. A friend got in the car and was convinced I had a dual-woofer setup when he heard this going. The box is very tiny, and it fits very tightly for a great, clean sound. If you're looking for tight, responsive bass (for metal or rock), this is a perfect choice. I was also very impressed with the shipping; I ordered it at night and it came in the morning two days later, and that was with the cheapest shipping. The only thing that might throw off a few newbies is that the box doesn't come with wires pre-attached, as another reviewer stated; also, if you've got a dual voice coil, you may want to look at another box. However, for somebody who's looking for a space-saving and cheap solution while getting a quality product, this is the way to go!

Well when I ordered these, they said they fit my vehicle. Yes they will but with quite a bit of modifications to your rear seat area. I have a 2002 2500HD LT Crew Cab. I installed these behind the rear seat. Since it is a LT version it may have extra trim pieces that non-LT models may have. My truck has cloth covered panels that seal the gap when you flip the back seat down / forward. These have to go first. Second, the metal bracket that these trim pieces screw to have to be cut out. I used an angle grinder with a cut off wheel. Next, the carpet padding behind the seat ledge where the speakers will sit needs to be cut out otherwise the cabinets won't sit low enough and the rear seat will hit the speakers when they are in their upright normal driving position. My truck also has a cloth covered piece of heavy insulated covering that goes across the rear of the cab, this has to go also to get the room you need. I have them installed and they fit great now and they look fine given the trim pieces I had to remove. With the seats upright in the normal position you cannot see any of the panels I had to remove. Originally I order two of the Kicker CompVR 07CVR124 12-Inch 4-Ohm DVC Subwoofers. I ended up returning them going for a more shallow pair, MB Quart Reference RLP304 12-Inch Flat Woofer 600-Watt Maxx 300-Watt RMS. The first set of Kicker's wouldn't sit flush in the boxes as the magnet was about 1/2" too deep. Again, when I selected the boxes on Amazon it automatically recommended the Kicker Sub's saying the would fit but they didn't Lastly, I ordered the MB Quart ONX1.1000D D-Class Amplifier to power these two subs. Plenty of power to drive these two speakers. I did also add some Polyfil insulation to each box to fool the speakers into thinking the boxes are actually bigger than they are. If you do not understand how this works by adding Polyfill, Google it. It is a common trick than professional installers will use on small boxes. Overall, I am extremely happy with my setup and overall look. I took my time to make is fit right and look clean and no sloppy edges showing. The only reason I gave these boxes a 4 star and not 5 is because they do not drop in and fit as described. You really need to have some skills to modify your truck but the end result will be a great fit. Of course a 10" sub would fit very easily in this crew cab but I really wanted to go for the 12" so I kind of knew I would be in for some modifications. Be Patient and take your time and the results will come out great.

What an amazing deal. 23 bucks, Sent next day, and the box is solid and good looking. It sounds great with my 12" Kenwood installed, and the slim fit is great for my application. This is 50% less in cost than what you have to pay at Best Buy for an open box enclosure. Great deal!
