I have been using all natural deodorants for several years now as I found traditional ones stopped working for me after my third child was born. This is the third brand I have tried and it would be in the middle in terms of what I prefer. It does have the BEST scent of all the brands I have tried! I believe this got warm while it was coming to me, and one of the sticks liquified then resolidified in the tube. I had to use a tool to get the leaked stuff out of the lid and it was a bit pasty in texture. It glides on relatively well as a stick. The first time I tried this it was over another very well known deodorant (l.ume) so I couldn't gauge how well it worked but it smelled awesome! I tried it again later on it's own and it worked, but not quite as well as what I've been using. I don't know if it would be the best for when I'm working out hard core, as I sweat a lot and I'm a pretty stinker sweater. Keep in mind, this is a DEODORANT and NOT an anti-perspirant. You will sweat (this is actually good for your body) but it helps with BO.

I am conflicted on this as I love love love love the smell SO MUCH, and it feels so good rubbing it on. I am not a fan of really putting anything on my body as I have sensory issues, but this is so soft and creamy and doesn't leave any real residue, so I rubbed it everywhere to get more of the smell. But that is where the problem is - the smell doesn't seem to last at all! Even with just sitting in my house hanging out in the A/C, I feel that the smell goes away within an hour, maybe? It doesn't seem useful if you're going somewhere and you want protection. However, it is compact, and you can bring it with you. I love the packaging, so I'd have no problem throwing it in my purse and bringing it and reapplying.

Overall ,decent deodorant. I guess you can slather this all over your body, but I don't understand what the latest obsession is with this all over deodorant. I've never in my life felt the need to put deoderant anywhere else other than the armpits. The scent is a light vanilla scent, which is nice. It works for a few hours then starts to wear off. I gave it four stars because I've tried so many deodorants now and none of them last more than a few hours, so I guess I might need something else.

I decided to try this HAPPY CURVES All Over Whole Body Natural Deodorant for Women after using just plain, slightly evaporated magnesium hydroxide (milk of magnesia) for several years because I was tired of dealing with the mess of it but didn't want to go back to traditional deodorants. I've tried lots of other natural deodorants in the past, but commercially available as well as more homemade styles, but they always cause irritation after a few weeks of use. I waited a while to review this one and I was hopeful reading the ingredient list. I'm happy to report no irritation whatsoever after three weeks of use! I'll update if that changes, but normally there are some signs things are off otherwise. This goes on easy without tugging on your skin. The round applicator works well. It smells amazing and works to stop stinkiness. Note: It does not stop the sweatiness. If you're newer to natural deodorants, that will probably be your biggest hurdle, but over time your body adapts and doesn't sweat quite as intensely under the arms. (I say that as someone who has used natural deodorants in places from more temperate regions to regions everyone agrees are quite hot). If you put on a darker item of clothing right after putting it on, you do get some of those deo lines if you let it catch along your arm pits but they don't build up in the pits of your shirts (at least thus far) like traditional deodorant/anti-perspirants do. I'm really happy with this. I do still plan to use my old slightly thickened through evaporation plain magnesium hydroxide, but this is wonderful for traveling, tossing in my gym bag or using when I'm running out the door and don't have time to let me pits air dry.
