This is a clean hydrating moisturizer gel that is excellent for normal/combination skin types. You can layer it on to achieve optimum benefits. I've been using it for over a month now on my type 2 Rosacea skin and it has worked extremely well. It's non irritating and absorbs easily. If you have dry/very dry skin you might need an additional lotion type moisturizer on top, but this would work well underneath. There's no added fragrance and the ingredients are high quality. It helps give my skin a nice glow underneath my tinted sunscreen and it works well to seal in any treatments over night as well. The product size lasts me about two months with twice daily use. I usually do a double layer on the dry patches. It's a good product and the brand is trustworthy.

This one’s tricky for me. The ingredients are top notch, and I love the way it feels going on. It does seem fairly hydrating. I guess in my mind, it’s either for younger skin or for people with normal to oily skin. The challenge I have is I’m a skin care maniac - I have a pretty extensive daily and nightly anti-aging regimen and have tried nearly everything under the sun and thought this would slot nicely into the middle of my routine. With this, it leaves a slight film or tightness on my skin, which doesn’t make it ideal for daytime use, and for nightly - it’s a gel serum, so it should be early in the steps, yet the film is almost semi-occlusive, so not ideal for additional layers without pilling (or waiting forever for it to dry beyond tacky). So, while I think I would’ve loved this in my 20s / 30s when doing simple toner + moisturizer, it’s just not a great fit for me now with a layered routine. There are many things to love about it - so I wish it worked for me, and I will hang on to it for nights where I have no time and want to throw on one or two products before bed. I gave it 5 stars because I do think it’s a good value, great quality product that would work great for many. In fact, I’m so impressed with ingredients, in conjunction with the HA, I’m going to try the gel-cream version which is less occlusive and should layer well.

I absolutely love this fragrance free, gel moisturizer. For over 30 years I used H2O Oasis blue gel moisturizer. When H2O went out of business, I searched over 2 years for a replacement gel moisturizer that was as gentle and effective as Oasis. Finally, I found this gel moisturizer last summer. For my skin routine, I apply Arencia PDRN after my toner. This PDRN gel protects my ultra sensitive skin and helps seal in moisture. Then, I apply a layer of Arencia Deep Water Surge Soothing Cream. Both moisturizers layer well under my primer and makeup. As the weather has gotten colder, I have added a heavier moisturizer on drier areas of my face. I’m 65 years old with extremely sensitive, dry skin, eczema and rosacea. These moisturizers have improved both my eczema and rosacea skin conditions. As a retiree, I appreciate the sales that Arencia runs on their products. I hope Arencia never stops making these moisturizers.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Another face product that who knows if it works but love the feel of it. I have extremely dry skin and for a while this feels amazing. I thought it was priced well and the gel consistency wasn’t as thick as it looks. It smooths on great and you don’t need a lot. I don’t smell anything when I’m using it. Feels good to me.

This product is very soft and it leaves a refreshing sense of hydration. Face looks glossy and feels great. Not oily.
