The product might have been good...if the packing was good. Very poor packing. Amazon team it will be good if packing was right.....improve packing. The product is too sensitive.

Will always give Evans some love, particularly because they often give as good or better quality than Remos at better price points. That said, 6 inch tom drums are interesting sound wise. Was trying to find some thing that might give the tom a warm sound. This didn't quite achieve that. Might try the Evans onyx series or possibly even remo ebony emporer or pinstripe. Might be a lost cause...6" is crazy treble!

Anyone who has ever owned an 18 inch floor tom probably has found it a little difficult to tune without having to resort to muffling with Moonjel or other stuff. I have a Ludwig Classic Maple kit that includes a 16 and 18 inch floors and I was using clear EC2's on them, which sounded great except I was having a little trouble with the 18. I switched to these coated G2's and absolutely love them. Nice warm tone with great attack, and no problem at all even with the 18 floor. I would recommend these to anyone that wants a great sounding drum kit.
