got it for cleaning fountain pens
most affordable bulb syringe for cleaning fountain pens. works as expected, but a bubble is seen on day two, which means the thickness could be very low at that point and it may not last enough. Lets see.

Not useful for ear cleaning
Not worth spending the money. Better consult an ear specialist and get your ear cleaned properly. Should have avoid buying it. Although quality is ok and hold a sufficient amount of water can be used for other purposes which I might not be aware of.

Does what it promises
I had an ear wax issue. To soften this I tried baby oil and then glicerine - both resulted in itching - possibly because I was not using medical quality. I used Candibiotic ear drops to kill the itch and found it had a glicerine base. Two drops in the morning and evening for three days massaging externally so that the ear inside got applied with the glicerine. The syringe had been washed and flushed with very weak solution of Savlon on arrival. Warm water comfortable to touch - sucked up the water, turned it up and squeezed out the air, dipped it again to suck up water till full. Tilted my head towards the basin and placed the tip of the siringe nto the ear and squeezing the bulb for sufficient pressure, I flushed the ear. Did this twice and felt the wax being flushed out. Did it twice more to make sure all the wax had been washed out. Hearing improved greatly and I could feel relief. I still go through this process once a month and use Episoft to first wash the ear deeply and then flush it with the siringe. Use the empty siringe to suck out any excess water from inside the ear.Read some reviews that complain of the siringe 'smelling' - it is made of rubber and smells the same as an ordinary erazer on removing from its packing initially. Hardly offensive! In any case the 'smell' completely disappears after a few days. For the price it cannot be beat for performance!
