Great Gold Ink
The media could not be loaded. Lovely little bottle of Gold Ink, give a great shimmer and the perfect Gold colour, unlike other brands which sometimes look more yellow.

Very high quality ink
Has high water resistance, is great quality, very easy to use, very opaque and can dilute with water if needed and is a great value for money. Would high recommended

EXACTLY what I need
Been learning how to ink lately and drawing comic characters and had been using a disappointing Chinese ink that was very patchy and showed the paper through. This is SOLID, black as night and gives a lovely finish. It does have a slight texture and I haven’t tested it’s waterproof capability yet but for using with a brush, it is absolutely smooth, beautiful and inky black. Am so pleased with the outcome of my drawings.Used with some synthetic watercolour brushes and it went quite far easily without constant re-dipping. Highly recommend. Winsor & Newton never letsme down.

Great Ink with the Habit of Separation
When well shaken, the ink literally sparkles when you put it on the paper. It's quite mesmerising and is gorgeous when it dries. I'm a fan of the colour and of the fine glitter. The bottle is sturdy and looks pretty formal too. I didn't get the bottle exactly shown in the photo, rather a square glass on which makes it easier to look inside the bottle. Looking inside the bottle is particularly useful for the reason why I didn't give it the full five stars; even though it's a great bottle and a great ink, the liquid tends to separate. The instructions mentions about shaking well before use, but within a few minutes it settles again with an oil on top and most of the colour down at the bottom. For time scale, I shook the bottle well before use and made sure there was no separation at the bottom, within eight minutes I had to do it another two times to ensure consistency.

Guaranteed quality
Winsor and Newton do not disappoint, and I'll just say that the quality is perfect. It works really well after a thorough shake and my nib of choice is a glass pen which works wonders with this ink. If you're doing a large project that takes time, make sure you put the cap on and give it a vigorous shake, as the mica settles to the bottom. I will definitely be buying other colours.
