Wow! This iron is awesome! I'm really picky about irons and this one was such a pleasant surprise. I travel constantly for work and wanted to get an iron that I could travel with that wouldn't weigh my bag down. This one does an amazing job both ironing and steaming my work shirts and trousers. I love the non-stick, stainless steel plate and the compact size of this iron. I have bee using it almost every day since it arrived a monty ago, and I can honestly say it works better than most full size irons I have used. I was a little worried when I received it because there are not a ton of steam holes in the bottom plate. However, it produces a lot of steam!! It's a great little iron at such a great price too. This could possibly be the best iron I have ever used.

Bought this little iron for my son who is headed off to college. Had to try it out first. He wanted to take my cordless. Maybe I should have let him have it, since he is the one who dropped it once and crunched the point at the top! This little iron gets hot quick, quicker than the cordless for sure and the sole plate is super smooth. It comes with a plastic sole plate cover for steaming and lint removal. I really cannot see how that thing is going to be useful for its intended purpose however, it is very useful as a heat guard! You just slip it on and you can put it on a shelf or wherever you store it and not have to let it cool. Cool. Handle comes up for the job and collapses when finished. Cool. Good price. good product.

Purchased this for a trip to the Bahamas and it worked out perfectly as most of the clothes I had packed were of light weight material. I brought along two suits with me and the heavier material of the shirts required a few more passes with the iron to get the wrinkles out.The only time the iron ever leaked was when I over filled the water reservoir, which is in the handle of the iron.

Great little travel iron. I bought this one after searching for one with a stainless soleplate, not ceramic or non-stick. I was skeptical because of the low price, but with Amazon's fabulous return policy, figured I'd give it a shot. Very pleasantly surprised! Quality is as good as Rowenta, which I own, as well. Nice long, solid cord, easy to fill with water and this iron's steam feature is much better. Love it!!

The iron was obviously used when it arrived (there was water in it still). It still heats up, so I'm not returning it, but getting a used item after paying for a new one is unsettling. I needed a small iron for putting patches on bags, but if I were intending to travel with it, I probably wouldn't pack it with anything I really cared about. Seems hard to dry out once you put water in it. 9_9 It's definitely compact, however.

I purchased this item for a three week trip to Italy. I used it every day, and chose to use even when the property we stayed at had a full-size iron. It is easy to use, steams beautifully, and irons perfectly. I have two other travel irons and this one is far superior! I highly recommend it!

I thought this "travel iron and steamer" was small and light enough for travel, per description. I could not find any info on the weight and size of this iron. It was misleading, it is much too big and heavy for my overseas trip.It's a shame that Amazon wants me to pay for $8.00 for return charges, if I bring it to the UPS pick-up location, or to pay more than what I paid for this iron if UPS picks it up from my home. What a terrible customer service, that means I would have no money left. Why bother to return and give it away?My husband went to eBay and got a small travel steamer. All the hotels we stay provide an iron in the room, my husband likes to have a tiny steamer for his suit.

Small but powerful. Perfect for our 2 week trip to Italy. Plenty of wrinkled clothes in our stuffed luggage and this iron tackled it all, no problems. Highly recommend. Your wife will be happy because her clothes will look great.
