Q: Does this fit 2007 gmc yukon slt 5.3l

It fit the 5.3l in my 2007 Avalanche. If your motor is equipped with AFM lifters then it probably fits. There are 2 different lifter guides for that engine. If you are replacing all of the lifter guides, you’ll need two 12669184 & two 12669185.

I could not say without knowing what motor you have. This fits a 5.3L Chevy motor that had active fuel management lifters. AFM was new in 2007 on the 5.3L new style vehicles.

Didn't last 12 days.

Although the part was OEM it didn't work out for me, 12 days after installation I had a repeat lifter failure. Upon tear down I found that the lifter tray wasn't locking the lifter into position which caused the lifter to spin on its bore.....Not Good!
