Thank you Library of Congress
The Library of Congress has an extensive collection of baseball cards, especially the old T206 type. They have a database with images on their website which is awesome. They had great foresight to make a book with the history of baseball, the birth of the baseball card, and their place in the history of America. It’s beautifully designed and well written. I need to use LOC as a resource more often. Also look forward to future to they put out. Thank you Library of Congress.

One of the best books ever written on baseball and America
A fantastic resource. Cards are laid out in fantastic spreads, set against the context of real life social and political events of the late 19th and early 20th century. To understand baseball and tobacciana of the time is to understand the cultural shifts and economic growth happening during the industrial revolution. Cannot recommend this book highly enough, it is truly fantastic.

Great book! Awesome photos of old baseball cards! I am a T-206 collector, but I love seeing the other old sets as well

Which it had a priceguide.
I was hoping that it included the value of the cards to this day.
