One of the boys would often slip out and up between the base ring and the cock ring attached to the cage. However, I do like the concept of the "open" cage design and, as such, I have returned the 1.97 inch in favor of the 1.75 inch.UPDATE 5/17/2023As it turns out, the 1.75 inch base ring was too small and was also returned. Because I still like the open cage design, I decided to reorder the 1.97 inch size in hopes that something would be different and that I would no longer have issues with one of the boys slipping out between the base ring and cock ring. So, first the good. I'm a grower and as long as I'm flacid the cage stays in place. With the right size base ring (I had to go back and buy the 1.97") my balls really are stuck. The cage base fits almost inside the base ring, just like in the picture, making pulling them out impossible for me. The lock holds but when inserting it the first time I felt like it wasn't sturdy. I took 1 star off because it doesn't seem like the base rings are quite as large as they advertised. I wanted it really right, and that's what I got with the 1.57" to the tune of literal blue balls. Just maybe err on the size of a little big and then go back and buy a second, smaller ring.The second star came off because the cage and ring came off once. Am I mentioned, I'm a grower and to be more precise one who pops it on out to a just slightly better than average. When locked, the cage can still move around a lot. Combined with the "ergonomic" shape, I can't keep this on. I was expecting it to work since it was the same shape and style as my previous plastic one, but it is clearly an inferior product. I suggest looking elsewhere.

My wife purchased this cage for me, and switched out my larger cage for this one. So I am about 1.2 inches long soft and the cage fits perfectly. I don’t even even notice it’s there. I am fortunate, in that I need a pill to get hard, so I do not know how painful this would be to get my 2-1/2” erection, though my wife keeps threatening me with giving me the pill and leaving me in the cage. If I find out, I’ll add to the review.
