Budget sight with a surprising perk for home defense.
Installed on my home defense shotgun (Mossberg Maverick 88 12ga). The tiny green dot is handy and works as expected, but it's also way better than the brass bead sight when I'm using the mounted light at night. The black metal housing around the green dot absorbs light and contrasts clearly with the bright background. The stock brass bead is reflective and washed-out by comparison.

definite upgrade
It's small , yes, but if you mount your weapon light at 6 or 9 , so that some of the flood hits the sight, it's perfect in the dark . The small size becomes an advantage because it doesn't distract your eyes from the target . It's not something you're gonna squint at to see. It's comparable to a 4moa RDS on an 18.5" barrel .

Great front sight replacement.
This is a good front bead replacement. It doesn’t illuminate like the 1 inch long beads, but it works fine. It comes with multiple base size threads, which have to be able to fit on any gun.. I would buy it again if I needed it.

Easy install
Just follow the directions for an easy install. Fit my Mossberg perfectly and performs way better than the stock bb sight

Don't Buy!
This sight is junk! I just received one that cost $10.99. Now I see they are down to $5.99. Even at that price I don't think they are worth it. I already own four of the HiViz magnetic sights, and two of the Comp Sights. They are good sights; however, the Spark II doesn't compare. It is not very bright compared to their other sights, and it is very easy to ruin the sight during installation. First the screw is hard to install in the rib. Then, when the sight is screwed onto the screw it probably won't line up. So you must remove the sight (the screw will probably also come out) and sand the bottom of the sight. If you happen to sand a little too much off, the sight is basically ruined, because if you try to sand off enough to make another 340 +/- degree turn, the screw hits the fiber optic.Save your money. HiViz makes a number of very good sights, but the Spark II isn't one of them.

Not very bright in the shade
This works fine in open sunlight but it's so small it doesn't really gather very much light in the shade.

GREAT FOR 940 PRO TACTICAL
On my Mossberg 940PT it was literally a 5 minute install and that because I had to make sure the threads were clean. On this specific it goes in with a Quater turn before proper alignment, no need for grinding. Also I didn't follow the instructions of installing the post with loctite then wait 2 hours.... I initially screwed the post to the sight and just test fitted to the barrel and it was almost there(1/4 of rotation before alignment), so I just put blue loctite on post screwed it to the sight the put loctite to the post then proceeded to screw one whole piece to the barrel turnred 1/4 turn and DONE!.... best $8 spent on my PT!!

Bit tidily to fit

It was tricky to install, but most beads are difficult due to size. Once I finally got the right screw in the assortment it went on nice and tight. I put it on an older baikal ij 18m. It took the 3mm x 6 screw I think. I used blue loctite as well. Glows nicely in the sunlight.
