IBELL Dry Wall Sander DS80-70, 800W, Copper Armature, 1200-2300RPM, Variable Speed Control, Switch Lock Feature, 8 Hole vacuum and LED light

This is a "Dry Wall Sander". The best use of it on to make plane surface and smooth surface before wall painting. After applying Putty on the wall, use this sander with 100 grit of sanding discs to make the puttied wall surface plane and then use 220/320 (step wise as required) to smooth the wall smooth before applying wall paint. Its mush mush better than hand sanding and mush faster. One can make 500 / 600 sqft of sanding by this machine per Hr. This machine is perfect for professionals also.Its biggest advantage is its inbuilt vacuum to collect dust and the collector bag !But remember, this machine is not meant for preparing the wall to apply putty, I mean, to rub and scub the wall to remove old distemper from the wall, this machine is not for that. I have tried myself for this with 36 grit 8 holes velcro 7" sanding discs, but it failed.last point, some practice needed to bring perfection but no worry, any who habituated with operating various machine can handle this machine within 2/3 minutes. No big thing.I must say, "Value for Money" !

This was the cheapest orbital sander compared to the rest of the products on Amazon. I had purchased I bell products before so I bought it. Came with 150 number sanding disc. Makes your job easier and reduces the number of hours. The locking button gets stuck as putty sand goes inside it. It needs to be covered like the led bulb button which has a plastic cover. The sand bag has a sliding mechanism which can be difficult for opening and closing. Difficult to reach smaller areas and corners. I use a square wood sander for corners and small gaps. Still there will be areas where one will have to manually sand with paper. Many times if the surface is uneven or if you are sanding a smaller surface then sand comes out of the corners and gives you the feeling of manual sanding. Still it is tolerable because you can cover a lot of areas in very little time. The hot sand from the bag keeps popping up through the pipe. I don’t know what can be done about it. Sanding for painting is a tiring and lengthy process. If India had clean water then our sand would have been lighter in colour and we might have avoided painting and putty completely.
