It is so compact and easy to use, that it has solved all my light problems for reading. It can be clipped on to the window or near the bed and done! It's nice and bright and the light focusses only the area you want it to. It's flexible head can be turned any way you want. Sometimes I work across my room and I just turn the head the other way and don't have to switch on the lights and disturb others sleeping in the room. If you want a reading light, this is it!!

Surprisingly useful product, and so convenient. The light is quite adequate. Build is sturdy and adaptable. You can position it according to your convenience.

Everything about the product is good, be it the finish, the clamp, the cute shape of the lamp holder, the round-button switch, focus as well as the illumination. But gooseneck has let me down badly. It is too feeble to hold on to its own little weight. It begins to droop in no time and the focus of the light begins to shift. I cannot buy the idea that strong and sturdy arms are not available. I have one local version of the same diameter, length, and shape yet it is quite stiff and does not give up the erection even slightly. It is also an equally smart-looking lamp. Manufacturer of this one perhaps acted miserly by cutting costs using a cheaper variant of wire thus spoiling what could have been an outstanding product for consumers. I am now using it in a hanging position so there is no scope of deviating. I would not give it a 'recommended' tag as there are many such available in the market. One should explore all and view buyer comments before putting in money.

I wanted to have this for oral inspection, setting it in front of mirror and this served the purpose precisely.Goose neck may fall on one side but it will be stable if we flip the clip to 180 degrees and use it in the opposite side of it. Bought this since it was priced at Rs 499 compared to other listings which were more.Only thing I was worried is that it shouldn't be a warm white which will be bit yellow shade,it was good to see this is cool white color which exactly what I was looking for.
