I ordered this product a month ago. It took them 7 days for delivery and 2 days for installation. So far, the overall performance is very good. The water is clean and potable.I can't say anything about the maintenance yet, as I haven't had it done even once yet. However, the company's customer care is very good and they call me regularly to check if everything is going fine.One more thing I would like to add is that this product does not change the taste of water at all. If your water has a slight hardness to it and you don't like it, then this product is probably not for you. However, my suggestion is that if your water has a TDS value of less than 300, then you should still use this product. Don't ruin your health for the sake of taste.Positives:• Water quality: The water is clean and potable.• Delivery and installation: Delivery and installation were done on time and properly.• Customer care: Customer care is very good.Negatives:• Maintenance: I don't know anything about the maintenance yet.Conclusion:Overall, this is a good product. If your water has a TDS value of less than 300, then I recommend using this product.Suggestion:The company should provide more information about the maintenance.

I received the product recently. I will give some information about sweetness of water after a prolonged study of many years. (TDS is Total Dissolved Solids)TDS... 20- 50 packaged drinking waterTDS... 50-100 RO water (recommended)TDS...100-300 water tastes sweet ( no RO is required, only UV UF water filter required)TDS...300-500 water has no taste just neutral ( no RO is required, only UV UF water filter required)TDS...500 and above water tastes salty and its hard water (RO is required to bring down the TDS)If you are BUDGET oriented then this UV UF filter is HIGHLY recommended. The most important part in this water filter is UF filter cartridge. This UF cartridge contains small hair like strands which are about 0.001 micron thick (thickness of a hair strand is 50-60 micron) and which filters all bacterias BUT not viruses. The viruses and the bacterias are killed or become dormant i.e the viruses can not multiply in other words they are damaged completely by the UV lamp.In other cheap filters the UF filter is made from a tightly fitted sponge like material which does not filter bacterias but only filters suspended particles like a pre-filter cartridge. so this is the main difference between branded and other cheap filters.All branded filters are standard but KENT is reasonable and efficient and Amazon delivers with utmost care.KENT has made a name for itself since years BUT their after sales service is so costly and so inefficient, you can buy another new filter from a different branded company. Here there is a KENT dealer who sells refurbished filters and other cheap filters and if you ask for KENT he sells them at 30% more than what is available online and no free installation. you will have to pay a 200-500 rupees depending on how far is your home from their office.In my opinion you BUY from amazon and install yourself by following procedures on youtube videos or ask any plumber to install it for you for 50-100rs OR contact amazon, they will send an authorized local agent for installation without any expenses. But while the agent is installing do not allow him to open the top kent cover even if its RO installation.Thanks to amazon.

August 2024:I Bought a UV+UF water purifier, and it took 6 hours to fill an 8L tank just once. I asked the technician, and he said the machine was new, so it would take some time. But for the next 6 months, it consistently took 6 hours to fill the 8L tank.April 2025 (8 months since installation):The purifier stopped working properly, as it was unable to fill more than 25% of its tank capacity. I raised a ticket through the Kent app and scheduled a visit on [X], but I kept receiving messages stating the technician would visit today, only for it to be rescheduled—and this happened for 3 days.It was only after I called the office and sent an email that someone finally visited.The technician came to my home and said all three filters needed to be replaced. I asked why not just change the damaged ones, but he was adamant—either all three would be replaced, or none at all.Please note that the technician initially never informed us that an additional sediment filter should be installed to extend the life of the filters inside the purifier. Because of that, my filters got jammed after just 8 months. I spent INR 2,300 on the new filters and another INR 1,300 for the external filter (which sits next to the purifier to extend its life), which is not covered under warranty.After replacing the filters, it now takes 2 hours to fill the 8L tank (down from 6 hours). This leads me to believe that Kent may have intentionally fitted inappropriate filters just to extract more money from customers during servicing.
