From a functionality standpoint I don’t know if some of the other reviewers ever got in the ocean or if they were just tinkering in a swimming pool but I got several mouthfuls of saltwater when using as intended in the ocean. I think it has something to do with the gills not having a guard from splashing, in other words if you go down into the water the float will cut off the water but if you get splashed from a small wave plenty of water gets into tne gills and into your mouth because it wasn’t enough water to float the float. Overall very good, especially for the price…I just need to keep it real and not set false expectations. Review: This is my second purchase of this type of dry-snorkel. The Supernova is excellent-shape, size, flexibility, and comfort is unsurpassed, I highly recommend this unit, and this desertcart Seller as well, Bay 15.

Great snorkel that is flexible for both snorkel and scuba use. It is easily detachable which is great for packing and diving.
