TYR SPORT Women's Atlas Maxfit Swimsuit

This was the first TYR suit I've bought. I've had it for a couple of months now, swimming 2 -3 times a week and so far, I really like it! In the past I've always bought Speedo brand suits, but my last one was disappointing, as it began losing it's shape after a few months of regular swimming. Reviews were mixed about the sizing for this suit. I'm just under 5'8, around 159 pounds with a D cup. I'm normally a size 10 in clothing, but decided to go up a size as some suggested. FYI - TYR does recommend you buy your regular size as they say it's supposed to be very fitted, but for me, any one piece suit I've bought in the past is usually just a little too short in the torso (even though I wouldn't consider myself having a long torso) and it becomes binding. So the size up with this suit fits nice and snug without limiting my movement, and I sure hope it continues to hold it's shape. I'm very careful with my suit, I follow the instructions on the tag and don't use the spin dryer at the gym. As of right now, I can recommend this suit.

I love this suit! I am a large breasted woman and have never bought a suit without cups, underwire, or at the very least a shelf. I've been swimming for about 9 months,in preparation for my first triathlon and my first suit (Freya, which I loved) started fading and stretching. I wouldn't run in this, but I am quite comfortable with the lack of bounce and the level of support for walking around and swimming. The cheek coverage is good and the suit does not move around. I ordered my size based on the TYR chart and posted comments ( think that meant order a tad big, because they are intended to be very tight competitively, and I wanted compression and tight but not maximum tight). It is very snug, but comfortable and very flattering.

I bought this because I was looking for a swimsuit that would provide proper support for a large bust, not be too revealing and would not stretch out. This filled the bill in all regards. But be aware that "large bust" does not mean you'll be able to get one if you are a plus size. They don't have plus sizes for whatever reason.Do pay attention to the sizing and be aware that it will NOT stretch to fit you. If you don't fit it when you measure right now with tape, you will not fit it when it arrives.

My daughter looks great in this suit. Great for swim team practice. Shoulder straps a little too tight if you have large muscles through the neck shoulder area.

Very tight despite ordering a size up- went for a speedo costume from Costco and the fit size was impeccable. TVR maybe great if you are a svelte althete but not so much if you are trying to improve you aquatic form without looking like a waterlogged sausage.

I love this swimsuit. I got it just in time for the summer and it fits great. Love the colors and I swim everyday in the suit. This is a great buy for the suit.I will buy another one.

I have purchased TYR suits before, and always find them to be good quality, durable suits. I like the design of this one and the embroidered logo. It has a liner and is very comfortable in the water. Holds up well to chlorinated pool.

This suit was comfortable to wear while swimming. It didn't pinch my shoulders. Feels like it will last for years.

There are problems with conflicting size charts, US vs Cdn perhaps, at any rate this didn't fit , so I returned it.

I swim regular in the morning and this swimsuit makes me feel very comfortable, no fuzzy business, quick, in and out of the pool and feel energized.

Arrived on time. Good fit and nice material.

I love TYR suits however this one was very difficult to get on and off because of the small opening at the back.
