A brilliant cookbook
I bought this for my 6 year old grandson as part of his birthday bundle. It is a super cookbook. Full of healthy, easy to follow, very varied and imaginative recipes. I was very impressed with it and l know he (and his Mum) will love it. You won't be disappointed with this book. A really excellent buy !

Beautifully illustrated with some good ideas
This book is beautifully illustrated, and some of the ideas are really good. I can't believe I never thought of the fruit wands!Hands down most appealing recipe for my 3 year old is the horrible beast cake (on the back cover), but he also liked the look of several others as well so we'll be giving a few things a go to liven up his lunches. It's well laid out, simple to follow and is spiral bound so it falls open while you're using it which is handy any time but especially when doing anything with small children! If nothing else, it's good inspiration and it really is lovely to look at.

Excellent intro to cooking for kids
There were some lovely recipes. Very easy for the 6 and 9 year olds to follow. Recipes such as smoothies did not require any cooking either. All fun to make. Have not tackled the cake yet but it looks amazing.

Fun and educational
There are four (at least I think there are only four) cookery books for children based on the wonderful Julia Donaldson stories. I conveniently have 4 grandchildren all of whom enjoy cooking with their mums so this makes an ideal gift. I can thoroughly recommend them as a way of getting a young child interested in preparing their own food.

Yep, they are pretty good
I actually think these books are really good (I got two of them, room on the broom and the gruffalo), especially for the price they were on for. Gives us and our three year old something else to do during lockdown. Some of the recipes are healthy (hidden goodness) and some not so much... Nice mix.

Fantastic for children and parents alike great family activities.
Bought as a gift for a family friend. Liked It so much I bought another one.aimed towards foods that link in to the story which the children love. It really gets them involved.Great for fussy Eaters as they help make their own food and it's proven if children help and prepare their food with adults as family activity they will try the foods they have made
