Saves me a lot of money. I bought a chain breaker and mender so I can make my own lengths. Also bought me a very nice chain grinder so I can through a quick sharpen on them. With the price of everything getting so expensive it is really nice to lock in a few years worth of chains at a Black Friday deal.

If you have the ability make your own chainsaw chains, this is the way to go! You recoup your cost after about 2 chains made from the roll.

Oregon makes a fine chain and we have used the 72LPX(formerly 72LP) for years. I really don't have any complaints with it. It cuts sharp right out of the box, is long-lasting, can be sharpened numerous times and comes at a great price if you make your own loops. This is a professional-grade chain that should only be used by people who really know what they are doing for safety's sake. I like this chain over the 72LGX because, even though it cuts a little slower, you can achieve a straighter cut which makes it a great multi-purpose chain for logging and log construction. I strongly recommend this chain to anyone with the need and means to make your own loops.

Wouldn’t recommend rather spend couple more dollars for stihl chain total garbage

Chain itself is very good chain cuts fast and hold a nice edge. When I received my shipment the boss holding the chain was crushed and I will just say that it took some time to un kink and unravel 100ft of chain. Since then I have spun up a few chains and LPX is still may favorite chain to cut with.

I own a tree service business in my area so am always on the lookout for a solid chain that will hold up to constant use and abuse. I found this Oregon chain is a good solid chain that lasts through the abuse of low to grade cuts. The majority of my business is stump removal so quite often I’m cutting in dirt and rocky dust. This chain is priced right and holds up as expected in these conditions. I use a Temco FP1000 fully automated sharpening system that sharpens the cutters and the rakers. This chain stands up to several sharpenings. I will be purchasing again.
