Great for babies

I’ve been using this product since baby was born (started with only giving her 1/4 scoop) and now at 1 scoop- she is now 10 months old). This helps her digest everything better and less gassy. I notice a big difference — I stopped using it during our love for about a month and I saw her more gassy and she didn’t poop sometimes for a day or so. Sidenote tip: do not keep it in the freezer and do not get it moist at all- during our move we kept it in a cooler to keep it cold as it advises you to keep it in the fridge - but because it was on ice- it ruined half the bottle and it got hard. So I had to buy it again.

At the time, our 1 year old was getting ear infections on a monthly basis. Every time we'd go into pediatrician and every time they'd recommend anti-biotics. After 4-5th time of doing that we started to looking around for alternatives. A pediatric chiropractor recommended these Klaire Lab probiotics for infants, so we gave them a try. Almost a year later of daily using this product, our toddler has yet to get another ear infection. We've been back to pediatrician for well visits and fluid has been observed in her ears, but it's not turning into ear infections like before. I would highly recommend this product. We just mix these probotics into milk for our toddler in the morning every day and it works like a charm. Update April 2013: Still using this product religiously for past 4 years. We have 3 kids now, and we've been using Klaire lab products on a daily basis (usually). Our 2nd kid, got started on probiotics much earlier than her older sibling, only experienced one ear infection and she is 3 years old now. Our 3rd kid got his first ear infection a month ago (when he was getting weened off of breatfeeding), but nothing since. Our experience and the experience we hear from other parents is kids never just get one ear infection...its a long string of ear infections that eventually lead to tubes being inserted to allow for fluid draining. Like I mentioned in previous post above, our oldest, who is now 5 years old, pretty much stopped having ear infections after getting this probiotic, even though when we'd go into the pediatrician, she always had fluid in her ear. Very satisfied with this product. I much rather give my kids probiotics to help their body's natural defenses than pump them full of anti-biotics.

This is a great probiotic for our 5 month old grandkid with tummy issues. It’s helped her so much. This product must be refrigerated. I researched this product and it works well.

Ok, My toddler came down with a case of thrush after being given anti-biotics by his pediatrician. He had a nasty ear infection, and this was required; no thought was given to ensuring there was no yeast over growth, which caused thrush and subsequently caused additional sinus issues. After an initial treatment for the thrush, again without any indication that a probiotic was a really good idea, another physician prescribed Ther-Biotic (over the counter) along with Nystatin (prescription only). [The Dr did order a stool sample and blood work to verify there was a residual issue, btw.] The Dr then indicated that he wanted the Ther-Biotic used for at least four months, and that the blend of bacteria in this specific probiotic formulation was better than most in his opinion. First, the stuff is not cheap. However, it does have a pretty high potency, and can be put in something like applesauce and given to your child on and empty stomach 30-45 minutes before a meal, or 3 hours after a meal, with an oral syringe or teaspoon. This is especially important if your child is going on anti-biotics, in which case its usually 3 hours after a meal at least two times daily and perhaps right before bed. Second, the stuff has to be keep in a stable temperature. Some of the vendors on Amazon do not ship this product with an ice pack during the warmer months of the year, and you KNOW that the shipper has plenty of places where it will be extremely hot, etc. It should be in a temperature that is above freezing, below 60 degrees, and consistent. Third, as gross as this may be, you know that this is working when your child has a RUNNY stool. At that point, you should back off the dose by about 25% and the stool should stop being extremely soft or runny. Lastly, the true advantage of this probiotic is it's potency, many stains, and fundamentally low dose compared to the many other options out there. (e.g. I found one in a local supermarket that had most of the same strains, but it turned out you needed almost a tablespoon of the stuff to equal one teaspoon of Ther-Biotic. Clearly can turn out not to be cost effective.)

I swear by this product!!!!! My 5 week old was only pooping every 3-4 days and had extreme gas problems. Within 4 days, he was pooping every 2 days, and within 2 weeks, he started pooping every single day!! His gas problems have decreased by approximately 75%. I exclusively breastfeed and I don't keep a bland diet at all, so this is really phenomenal. I tried mixing 1/4 tsp with .5oz of breastmilk, but after a few days he wouldn't take it. So then I mixed 1/4 tsp with 1oz, but after a few days of that, he wouldn't swallow it either. Now, I express about 2.5ml of breastmilk into a tiny cup, mix 1/4 tsp into it, and give it to my baby with a syringe. Problem solved! At first I was sitting him upright to give it to him, but that gave him the ability to push it out with his tongue (which he definitely did because it tastes different than just my milk alone). So now I give it to him lying down, putting my hand under his neck to raise his chest slightly so that he can't push it out with his tongue as easily. I squirt tiny tiny bits from the syringe into the back of his mouth, wait for him to swallow, then do it again until it's gone. It's a small amount so it doesn't take long and is TOTALLY worth it! He's even turned it into a game where he sometimes opens up wide, sometimes narrow, and smiles and laughs because he knows I want him to take it!

Arrived next day, in a cold pack!!! Tested bacteria at home and it turned milk into yoghurt, so bacteria fos not damaged from transportation!! Very happy with the product, solved my LO constipation issues with 3 days taking it, hopefully his Reflux will be next to settle.

Good for people who is very sensitive particularly special needs

This probiotics infant formula really helped my 2 months baby with her upset stomach, she was very gassy and after every feed she had noisy poops, and the day after I start mixing the powder into a bottle of expressed breast milk (she is exclusively breastfeed) she improved significantly. She poops less often and not as noisy as before. By the way her poops smell like yogurt! I give them a four star because it didn't came in a cool pack as expected.

FANTASTIC PRODUCT - TERRIBLE SUPPLIER DID NOT ARRIVE IN COLD PACK OR DOUBLE WRAPPED GLASS BOTTLE OF PROBIOTICS WHICH MUST BE KEPT COLD - SUPPLIER SENT IN AMAZON BOX NO DOUBLE WRAP OR COLD PACK... USE ANOTHER SUPPLIER, HAD TO RETURN AS WAS A HOT DAY AND BOTTLE WAS VERY WARM WITH POWDER CLOGGED INSIDE. AS FOR THE PRODUCT - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I HAVE HAD MY DAUGHTER ON IT SINCE SHE WAS 4MONTHS OLD WITH SEVERE SILENT REFLUX - HEALED TUMMY WIND, REFLUX AND PAIN IN WEEKS. GREAT PRODUCT!

I love this product! However, don't ever buy from this company again..... the product arrives without an ice pack which obviously reduces its potency.... absolutely ridiculous
