I don’t write reviews often, in fact I can count how many times on a single hand, however I was so impressed with this shoe I had to write a review. For what I paid for the shoe my expectations were tempered, I was just hoping what I got matched the picture. What I got was an experience. Inside the simple but subtlety elegant brown box was an envelope with a letter thanking me for my purchase. underneath of that envelope were 2 shoes individually in a cloth bag with the “Jonsen” logo printed on it. The shoes in each bag were impressive for the price, a much better quality than I expected. I very much appreciate the extra little touches that turned what I thought would be a simple unboxing into an experience, you don’t get that with many shoes, especially with a “value” shoe such as these. I certainly got more than I paid for. Will definitely be buying another pair of shoes from Jonsen in the future.

I wanted something similar to Cole Haan’s sneakers but without the price tag. After looking for “dress sneakers” for months, I found Jousen and ended up choosing this style for my husband for Christmas. I liked they were a bit different than other ones we’ve seen.He is picky beyond belief when it comes to his shoes. Not for style really, but comfort. He ended up LOVING these. They are not real leather, but I plan on purchasing another one of Jousen’s styles that is (they have a few).Definitely don’t hesitate on purchasing these!

The shoes arrived on time (responding to the email from the company). These shoes are amaze balls, they look just as I thought they would. My opinion matters to a certain extent, so I put them to the test and wore them to work. Complements came in on the whole ensemble I wore. One manger said I was brave for wearing them to work, out of fear they would get scuffed. After wearing them I can honestly say they do not have as much arch support as I first thought. The insoles have this texture on them which took some getting use too. None the above mentioned is a deal breaker, as these shoes fit and still feel great. In college my life was skateboard shoes and vans, so the arch support was very lacking, my normal work shoes has more arch support which is why these shoes can definitely be defined as casual. The shoes came individually wrapped in their own sleeve with the maker name, making the unboxing feel extra special. Shout out to the Jousen company for checking in on the order and looking for feed back as well. Way to stay involved with your potential long term customer.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this for my husband. He got himself a personal stylist when he married me. 🤣Anyway, I am very impressed with these shoes. I can’t speak for its durability as I just received it. But based on what I’m seeing now I am quite surprised of how good these shoes look. For the affordable price I expected maybe some ugly uneven stitches here and there but I’m not seeing that. All I see is an aesthetically pleasing shoe that’s good quality and really fashion forward.Say my husband and I were still dating, and this is what he wore on our first date, he is definitely getting a second date bc I’d be so impressed with his taste. 🤣😉The added touch of the packaging and backstory of the company (hope that’s true) printed in an envelope is nice (Seller, might need a proofreader next time for your reprint).I’m happy with this purchase and look forward to buying from this brand again. 5 stars !

I admit to being Scrooge McDuck when comes to buying shoes. It angers me to no end finding crappy shoes for exorbitant prices. I picked this pair up on a flash sale for $27.99- normally $10 more- which is still less that you pay for simple flip flops these days. It was really refreshing to find well made shoes at "normal" prices. Not sure who Jousen really is but he/she makes nice shoes that are simple, stylish and amazingly comfortable. Okay, its just imitation leather but the fit and finish of the materials is simply exquisite. No rough edges on the material cuts, close stitching and comfy insoles. The attention to detail is evident from the exterior of the box to everything inside. The shoes are laced artistically with flat laces, all of them carefully placed. Each shoe has its own cover and being ever so thoughtful they even include a second pair of shoelaces. This solves the problem of trying to find the correct laces several years later and nothing matches what you want. This alone pushes the rating to 5 stars. I rather doubt Jousen ever came any closer to Milan than the postcard photo inside the thank-you-for-buying-our-shoes envelope, as is obvious from the grammatical errors translating Chinese to English. So far, I've been more than pleased with these shoes. Would definitely consider Jousen shoes for future purchases.

I've owned these shoes for nine days now, and I did not know that this kind of love was possible in such a short amount of time. I used to be loyal to another brand — you know, the brand that starts with S and rhymes with fetchers — but their current inventory is devoid of anything I would willingly put on my feet. After an extensive online search for a satisfactory replacement, these JOUSEN Men's Casual Shoes Retro Fashion Sneakers appeared in my search results like a beam from a rescue worker's headlamp in a dank, flooding mine shaft. JOUSEN has helped me see the light — no, dare I say JOUSEN is the light. Not only are these shoes less expensive than those other fetchers, they look better, fit better, feel better, and elicit more positive comments as well. Just the other day, my boss abruptly stopped a staff meeting to praise my new sneakers. The important work of the day took a back seat to the admiration of my clean new kicks. Coworkers oohed and aahed as I pelted them with a barrage of cheerful reviews about fit, feel, and price. Each day, I take two 10-minute walks around the block to clear my head. For the past nine days, I have not been able to clear my head of a certain earworm which is firmly implanted in my auditory cortex. To quote the turtles during their audition song in the cinematic masterpiece, Sing: "I love my shoes. I love my shoes."
