How can I say this without looking like an overexcited nutcase.... I. FREAKING. LOVE. THIS. BOOK. OHMAHGERD. Ok, so I failed at that but man, I simply can NOT contain my excitement about this book! I love creative writing but after having my 1st child, I just seemed to lose my inspiration & motivation to write. Let me tell you.. when I say this book sparked my creativity within 1 prompt, I really mean that it IGNITED it into a raging forest fire. The prompts range from silly to serious, short to long, fiction to non-fiction. I love being able to flip thru and choose whichever page seems to stand out to me. It's also been amazing as a stress reliever. I seriously reccommend this book to any & everyone, whether you have experience or not. I promise you will LOVE it!

This is the best collection of topics and ideas for writing about them I've seen, and I had every intention of using it on a daily basis. I haven't, but still have good intentions for January 1st, 2018. Anyone with the time and motivation to use this book will like it.

This is the 713th thing I've written about since I completed all of the activities in this book. It's like Mad Libs for the more creative, intellectual mind. It reminded me of how fun writing can actually be and made me wonder why I spend the last five years avoiding creative activities because I was glued to my television, enthralled by stories of fictional characters that all lived in the same apartment complex.

If you enjoy writing, get this. The prompts are fantastic for bettering your skills. I have most of these "things to write" books and they really have helped me break out of several of my writing comfort zones.

Bought this for my son for Christmas. Initially I purchased him the 642 Things to Write About, and wanted to keep it for myself. LOL. Anyway, when I purchased the first one on Amazon, it also showed this one and the reviews were positive enough for me to buy this one, too. Now, I need to buy this one for myself, too!

This book has really gotten my creative juices flowing a few times some of the prompts for me though the space given was way to small so I suggest writing them in a notebook or something if you write large other than that I highly suggest this purchase!

I purchased this for my teen daughter who wanted to keep up with her writing skills. These have create journal prompts to answer and compose serious to silly thoughts. It's a good book!

I can honestly can say I'm beyond satisfied with this book! It's great and super cute, definitely RECOMMENDED! :)

Bought a used one, however it had no markings or anything inside, like brand new inside, just the cover wear suggests it's been stored for a while but that's alright.The prompts inside are brief and interesting, giving room to imagine your own version. Since the book is written by Americans it has some American things like "imagine you just moved to North Carolina" but I guess you can substitute those kinds of words to smth closer to yourself or even twist the whole brief another way that works better for you, not like the authors are gonna grade for accuracy. It has a variety of topics covered from personal experiences to global events, from funny to more serious. Probably could even use the prompts for making drawings rather than stories if desired. Definately useful for writers block or for someone who wants to challenge their writing. I'd say this book is best used with an open mind than going by the book page by page. Have fun!

My boyfriend and I have one of these each and are working our way through them. I'm really enjoying the process and am seeing an improvement over time. The different approaches and styles required makes every entry interesting. It's a great tool for honing your writing skills. I imagine when I finish it it I'll buy a different book from the same authors.

I am still dusting this off but looking forward to winding away some dark winter nights. Its a fun book and am would make a great gift for someone who enjoys writing. Its a good book just to open at a page and go on a journey of writing.

Got this as a birthday present, i've not written in it yet but i've had a good read through and the scenarios are brilliant, definitely got me feeling creative and excited about writing again
