Great Product
Bought this for my 9 month old daughter, who just turned 2. I now use it for my 9 month old son. Obviously I’m happy with my purchase. Durability is impressive. I’m happy with the system, as the uniformity of the poles and connectors makes it a mindless process putting it up and taking it down. I’d gotten a more expensive cage from a store, one of those fancy looking ones with the net, and I immediately returned that p.o.s. This one on Amazon is an excellent price, excellent quality, it’s very large but easy to move around and store (fits completely in a Small box, broken down) takes 5-10 minutes to build and it’s very sturdy. The edges are padded for extra (but not really needed) protection for the little ones. Zipper opening allows them to go in and out if desired, and I’m gonna say once again that it is sturdy - enough that my 2y/o climbs over the walls. I find that it sits nicely on its edge against the wall, too, for easier storage.

Safe, colorful, and surprisingly spacious — a must-have for active babies
We’ve been using the Hiaksedt Baby Playpen with Mat for over a month, and it’s been a game-changer. The setup was quick and intuitive — no tools needed, and the instructions were clear. Once assembled, the playpen feels incredibly sturdy. Even with my baby pulling up and leaning on the sides, there’s no wobble or concern about tipping. The included mat is a standout feature. It’s thick enough to cushion tumbles and has vibrant animal illustrations that instantly caught my baby’s attention. It’s also easy to wipe clean, which is a lifesaver during snack time or diaper accidents. Size-wise, it’s generous. My baby has room to crawl, roll, and play with toys without feeling confined. I also appreciate the breathable mesh sides — they allow great visibility and airflow, and I can interact with my baby without needing to step inside. One small note: it’s not the most portable option if you plan to move it between rooms often, but for a dedicated play area, it’s perfect. Overall, this playpen offers peace of mind, comfort, and fun — highly recommended for parents looking for a safe space that keeps their little one engaged.

Very sturdy!
This playpen is sturdy! It’s compact but still very spacious. I got the 50x50. Took me maybe 15 minutes to assemble and I hardly looked at the directions!

Literally best money I’ve ever spent
I spent several hours researching giant play pens and this one won out. Firstly, the size is enormous, 50x70” is actually large enough for my husband and I to lay down and sleep with the baby. We have a full sized foam pad that we can use as a mattress on her clingier nights and it fits nicely. In the day time I have ample space to work in the pen while the baby plays. I feel that a 50x50” or smaller model would have been ok for the child and one adult in the daytime but might feel cramped for the adult. 2nd purchase decision was durability. This pen is escape proof and does not seem to be coming down from weight applied to the rails after 2 weeks of continuous use. Which brings me to point 3. The trade offs. Ease of construction is not the selling point (took about 30 minutes to put together, not hard just the process). Nor is it transportable, as you will have to disassemble the thing to take it out and about. It does look to fit through doorways so you could probably move it around the house every now and then. Many similar products boast about quick assembly and ease of transporting but I read through dozens of their reviews to find that these options affected the durability. I plan to keep the playpen mostly in one area and would like it to last as long as possible. This particular product seemed to hit the sweet spot for durability vs assembly for us. I am so happy with its quality that a little extra assembly feels well worth it. Even knowing we are moving in a month I still set it up and will happily take it down and set it back up at the new place. 4th surprising point is building trust while bonding and also promoting independence for baby! My 6 month old makes it her mission to test, deconstruct, and jump off of anything possible. Before, I was so hesitant to sit her down to explore and found myself becoming burnt out. This was such a breath of fresh air for her and I both, as I was finally able to leave her to play for a few minutes without stressing. She gets to explore her surroundings freely and she invites me into the space to play, showing her that I’m never more than a call away. If I could have one thing, I’d love some built in hooks or straps to make attaching toys easy. This model just comes with a pocket built in.

Really helpful!
We decided to try this playpen out for our senior dog who can’t hold its well anymore. The quality is solid enough to keep her safely enclosed. She actually found a way to open it up with her nose thru the zipper so I guess the zipper must work nicely! Wasn’t hard to assemble but I would say if you plan on having to set up and break down often, it might not be best. If you can leave it up for a good while each time, it works great. Surface material is smooth and breathable. The size is true to description and has plenty of room for what we needed it for.

Excellent product
Super easy to assemble. It’s a perfect size for a toddler to play. My son is just learning to walk and it’s taller than he is so there’s definitely room to grow. Love that it has a little zipper door that opens from the outside so he can get in and out of it when we leave it open. It comes with the floor blanket which is good quality and washable. It’s not thick so there isn’t padding but you could add a pad underneath.

Play Space
When I first got the box I thought something was wrong because, it was so small and so literally. However, once I started put it together it was actually taller than expected. The assembly was easy and the instructions were clear. It’s sturdy and safe for my little ones. The only down side that I don’t like is the mat slides when they move around. Other than that it’s perfect.

Decent
The joints break easily. But it works for my needs. My infant refuses to stay in the play pen. But my preschooler will go into his "fort" with his toys when little brother won't leave him alone. Great for when he wants to play with toys with little pieces. It wipes up pretty easily. There is zero padding, so we put it on a thick blanket or a rug. We have taken it apart twice for travel, and its pretty easy take apart and re assemble if necessary. I wish it came with a storage bag, but we just used a reusable shopping bag to transport. Overall, there are better options out there, but it's usable.
