The accuracy is questionable so I take my glucose twice and rely on the better number, I mean the second number.

It worked fine for about 6 months or so of light use. I am not diabetic but I like to check my sugar a few times a week. Just recently it started to give me high readings and it does not matter if I fast or not the result is almost similar. I bought another machine of a different brand and it gave me a normal result after a two hour meal.

Anytime my blood sugar seems high I use this. It comes in handy whenever I feel like tracking my blood sugar. I’m not diabetic. I just like knowing my blood sugar levels. It comes with a lot of tests and I can easily store it somewhere.

This glucose monitor is unreliable. It seemed to give me accurate readings for several weeks. All of a sudden, the readings were out of range for my average readings. The readings were 80-100 points higher than my normal. i was so stressed over this, I had a fellow nurse do a lipid/glucose test on me one morning after my glucose reading was 183 per this glucometer. The iipid/glucose test in my clinic showed my blood glucose at 83 just one hour after I used this glucose monitor. i will not use this particular glucose monitor again....a waste of money.

I just received this but so far, so good! It's lightweight and accurate. The kit came with everything as described. It's very functional, in fact, this is a superb lancet! The amount of blood required is very minimal.

So this is a well MADE glucose monitor, everything is sturdy and feels like it’s decently put together. The lancet gun works just fine, the lancets are sharp without too much pricking pain and there’s a 1-5 depth control depending on your testing site. The meter comes with two tubes of test strips and the strips only need a drop of blood to read. However it’s the actual MECHANICS of the meter that suck. I was getting wildly different readings. One would say I’m 1-2 ng/dl from hypoglycemic shock and the next would read around 103. All from the same testing site! I’ve taken to doing 3-4 readings and averaging them. I got this to keep track of my blood glucose during this weird hypoglycemic stretch and I can’t trust a single darn reading.
