My 6-year old is wearing the Beavers size 26 t-shirt and size 28 sweatshirt with a reasonable amount of growing room. My 8 year old (who is bigger than usual, currently wearing age13/14 clothes) is wearing the size 34 cubs t-shirt and size 36 sweatshirt. Sizes 28 - 34 would probably work well for the average sized 8-10 year old. Hope this helps.
