I've been using this ostomy belt for a while now, and it's been awesome. It really keeps my colostomy bag secure and comfortable throughout the day. I’ve purchased a $130 brand, 2 years ago, an $80 brand one year ago, and now this $40 version. All do the job well and are made reasonably well. Let’s see how this inexpensive one holds up.

I am new to wearing a colostomy bag after emergency surgery. Its been traumatic and challenging. After 6 weeks of healing and learning how to deal with all the supplies and challenges of wearing a colostomy - I found it uncomfortable to say the least. I ran into this band and skipped over it due to the cost and not knowing if it would fit a (short women 180 lbs) Finally out of desperation for a band to create a barrier between the bags with rough edges on my skin and get some type of support- I ordered the band - I was immediately impressed by the softness of the material and how easy it was to put on. When I strapped it on I had good support and binding was just right. I was so happy I immediately ordered another one to trade off when laundering. It is worth the cost and I do recommend

I bought this belt to help hide my ostomy bag and to help support the bag so that the base would not pull. The design with the Velcro is really comfortable and sturdy and is very discreet. I actually bought a second one so that I could swap them out. I normally just hand wash the belt in the sink.

Very comfortable and holds any residual smell. Shows product is for men, but definitely unisex. Has saved me by holding in smell during a blowout on my ostomy. Absolutely wonderful to hide your ostomy. I wear mine over my clothes and it just looks like I'm wearing a fanny pack. Is not comfortable to sleep in if you're a back sleeper just because the velcro flap goes together in the back. Could be put under clothes, but it adds too much bulk for me with regular clothes.

Not so much a review as a question. Not sure it can be answered here. When I wear it it holds my bag tight to my stomach. And if I happen to go (you know). It just mushes up right there on the stoma instead of the usual fall into the bag. I’ve tried to wear it loser but that’s no good. Also I’m new to the whole ostomy. One month
