Why did you pick this product vs others?: I was looking for a backpack that was practical and at the same time, appropriate for a female college freshman to carry. This fit the bill perfectly. Size: This is a well sized backpack at 18" tall, 13" wide and 8" deep and will clearly carry quite a load of books, notebooks, computer and "stuff". Style: The classic style of this well made backpack is well thought out with plenty of interior and exterior pockets including a built in computer sleeve, a security pocket on the back of the backpack and and multiple pockets in and on the two main sections of the backpack. Zipper quality: The zippers are self-healing nylon zippers with metal pulls that are sturdy and will take a lot of punishment. Build quality: The construction of this backpack is excellent with a full lining, seams that are protected with piping that covers them, water repellent fabric and it is exceptionally well and neatly sewn with heavy nylon thread. Travelability: The backpack is well supplied with padded shoulder straps which make it easy to carry on trips and it has a strap across the back which permits you to slide it over the handle of your suitcase for easy transport. Value for money: The extras included in this backpack and the excellent construction and considerate design and execution of that design is what elevates this backpack to the value and the cost it is. Be aware that there is a price difference between the larger and smaller backpacks, however both are worth the price because of the sturdy, excellent construction and usefulness of this amazingly well designed backpack.
