Magimix18260 Le Mini Plus Food Processor, 1.7 liters, Satin

I love this Magimix Mini Plus. I find I use the big bowl the most & hardly ever use the small one but for 2 people it is plenty big enough. If you have a large family then you may need a larger capacity or use this & just empty it more often. The grey central spindle & top of the Stainless Steel blade mean they don't stain like Magimix's old White ones. It is so simple to use & quiet. Everything you would expect from the quality of Magimix. I have the Brushed Steel model that doesn't show finger marks. I wouldn't be without it. So easy to clean.

I got this today and I was so disappointed that the bowls and accessories were made of plastic. For the price they ought to be glass. The motor part is very heavy, which is a good thing as it ought to last well. I found the accessories really fiddly to put together and it took lots of patience and ages to complete. I’m sure it’ll do a decent job, but is it going to last? My last one was a lot cheaper but a plastic piece broke off it and it no longer worked. I hope this one doesn’t go the same way.

Update 3 years later, June 2022: all good, machine has functioned well. Only used infrequently but always does the job well. Pleased with the smaller size for only 2 people. Not big enough for a family or larger jobs of course, hence the "mini" in the name I guess! Pleased with the purchase.I cannot comment on the longevity of the product at this point but I trust it will be good with the long warranty periods and brand reputation.I am writing to comment that "satin steel" colour is actually just plastic as I presume the other ones are. As it is a more expensive choice I presumed it would be metal and am slightly disappointed. Not enough to return it as I think it looks OK but perhaps will save someone else the disappointment if they are deliberating.Secondly, the product I received had clearly been opened previously although I doubt it was used. The base of the machine had a lot of fingerprints and other marks on it, thankfully no damage I could find. Worryingly a sticker seems to have been removed from the bottom but I can't figure out what it would have been.The fingerprints cleaned off easily enough as I was not wanting to return it and just pass this issue on to someone else. The sticker is more of a worry and I will write to Amazon (and Magimix if necessary) to confirm the warranty status etc.Slightly disappointing experience overall, obviously would have to go and see the product in person at a physical store to find out about the case material, however Amazon should inspect returned items a little more thoroughly perhaps as it was also offputting that the machine had clearly been out and handled by someone.

I absolutely love my magimix le mini plus it's so neat looks beautiful it works superbly it is truly one of the best on the market highly recommend you won't be disappointed.
