Exceeded my expectations all around!
Bought these shoes bc steel toes were required on location for a photo shoot I was doing. Bc this is a first & prob only time I will need these, I didn't want to spend a lot of money. After reading reviews, I was a little nervous about sizing & comfort but my shoot was the next day & since I would be on location for only a couple of hours, I figured I could tolerate them if need be. With tennis shoes I typically wear an 8.5-9 depending on the shoe. Because I read several peoples' reviews that they ran big (but read reviews you need to order larger bc of steel toe) I decided to order an 8.5. They came in and straight out of the box the fit was perfect & comfortable & at first glance they were cute. My 2 hour shoot turned into 5 + hours of running up & down ship stairs & all over the property. My feet never hurt. The fit was good & the steel toe did not rub. I do have to say that I added an insert before wearing bc I have to with all my shoes. The insole of shoes are always thin & generally offer zero support- theses do come with thin non-supportive insoles. So add an insert. I also started w low socks- but brought backup in case the edges rubbed my ankles. Until you get them worn in, wear at least an ankle sock bc after abt 3 hours the insides of my ankles where the shoe top sits did rub. No fault of the shoe- I can't compare the weight agst other steel toe shoes- but while obviously heavier than a reg tennis shoe, these were not bad. I easily managed them all day. Based on my experience, I would recommend these shoes.

Good quality for the price
I was volunteering on a construction site and needed work shoes. Since I was only going to be using them for this purpose I didn't want to spend a lot of money but wanted something that could hold up to the all day wear and tear but also be comfortable. These shoes did just that. Very comfortable and sturdy, the steel toes came in handy and didn't hurt my feet at all. I can't say how they would hold up for longer wear but they look like they are made well and for the price should hold up fairly well. I'm very happy with my purchase, I bought my normal size in the green camo. There was plenty of room in the toe area and the tops did not rub against the steel toe part.

Decent shoe
Well for 45$ what do you expect, after replacing the insole they were actually pretty comfortable. They do breathe very well on hot days. They look very nice. Only real downside I can personally say is they do NOT last very long. I'm a Auto Technician and I got about 2-3 months of GOOD use, after that they went downhill pretty quick, started with a weird clicking noise when I would step, then the shoelace eyelets popped out, then holes started showing up in the soles and the inner heel part FELL APART bad. BUT like I said what do you expect for less than 50$?? Overall I'm happy with them, I got about 4 months before I could literally not wear them anymore, now its winter and I'll be wearing boots as these are way to thin and light for cold weather BUT honestly I'll probably purchase another pair for the hot summer months and if I get one summer out of them I'm good with that, like I said they are pretty comfy and breathe good and very flexible.

Lightwieght, steel toe, comfortable, and no pain in my toes.
I love these shoes! I'll be honest and let you know the price scared me. Less than $50.00. Most nice steel toes let's say Skechers that I did buy and cost me over $100 hurt my feet and was so heavy. Felt like I was carrying bricks on my feet. These shoes are incredibly light and feels like a tennis shoe. I also have a slight toe bunion and these shoes do not aggravate it. Let me repeat that, " does not hurt or aggravate my toe bunion". You would never know these are steel toes by any means. I picked a size 7 and was worried because I wear 7 an half but they fit perfect with just a little bit of room so my toes arent eating the inside of the shoe. I have had these shoes for 3 weeks before writing this review and hardly ever write these but I am actually quite impressed. Buy the shoes, don't worry you'll love them too.

Great steel toe and sole, but the body is weak.
When I first got these shoes, I loved them. I work in a manufacturing plant with no warehouse A/C. We're located in the southern US, so it gets HOT in the summer and I needed an alternative to my steel toe boots. These were so comfortable and breathable and effective for the first several months. However, they weren't able to stand up to the rugged nature of our work environment. Eventually one of the steel toe plates came loose so it clinked with each step. The walls and top just past the steel toe became gashed and torn. After wearing them for not even a year, I had to toss them. With a little more work on the body of the shoe, these could be perfect. As is, they're not efficient for a manufacturing plant or somewhere your feet will be getting bumped and brushed, etc.

I really like the shoes just slightly narrow at the front.

All good

I was expecting the safety shoes to be more lighter but can bear with it. Hopefully it will last for the next 5 months to wear it all day long ☺️
