OMG these are awesome for camping, EDC, emergency preps
Please read all the reviews from the purchasers who said these towels are awesome. Every single thing they said is true. I was looking for something for an EDC, camping, and emergency preps, and this product has multiple uses. Each towel is individually wrapped, about the size of 2-3 silver dollars compressed and is crazy big when decompressed. Towel, wash cloth, hand towel, bandana, first aid compress, etc. Super strong - not like a paper towel, more like a "shammy" towel. Strong enough to be usable multiple times. Very soft, very thick, dries fast. The only thing I am not in love with is the holder/tube that comes with them. It is fine, made of fiberboard / cardboard, and is plenty strong if stored on a shelf. However, I wanted something more durable. 12 compressed towel discs fit great in a Leslie's pool test strip container, and is perfect for my camping needs. Still looking for something that will hold 1 or 2 in a pocket for EDC.

Strong, Absorbent, Soft, Cheap. What’s not to like?
I really wasn’t expecting much from these towels but I had a good experience with some smaller ones and I thought I would give them a try. I only had experience with one other larger towel, and was made of bamboo. So many of the photos will compare this towel with the bamboo towel, but I got to say the only advantage that the bamboo towel has is that it’s about 50% thinner in it’s compressed form. It also comes in at a dollar to $1.50 apiece for the bamboo, versus 35 cents a piece for these. Size: You can see by the picture of the size of the towels before and after decompression. But this towel was quite easy to decompress and required less water than I expected. I was surprised to see that it had a pattern on it of puffy polkadots. These add thickness to the towel and to it’s superior absorbency while minimizing the bulk. The towel expanded to about the promised dimensions of 12“ x 20“ give or take some stretch. And I was pleased to see that this towel has significantly more surface area than the bamboo one so you are gaining something with that added thickness. It’s hard to see exactly how thick the towel is since it has a texture to it but from what I can tell even the non-textured areas are a little bit thicker than the more woven bamboo one. The bamboo towel’s structure seems a bit more spiderweb rather than a tight weave. I tried to do a picture to show the edges and you can see the difference in thickness. I also placed both over a black polkadot pattern to give you an idea of the opacity and thickness of each of the towels. Strength: I allowed the towel to dry and then held it out and put a 5 pound weight on it and then another 5 pound weight and it seem to give no signs of tearing so this thing is strong. Softness: The towel is quite soft feeling, softer than a paper towel or a baby wipe, much more like a tufted cotton or microfiber on the skin. It’s easily soft enough to use On more sensitive parts of the body. Absorbency: This is the real tale of the tape here. I filled two glasses with equal amounts of water and took this towel and the bamboo one, and dunked them in the water. I waited about half a minute for them to fully absorbed and then quickly remove them from the glasses. Well I did not take exact measurements you can see from the photograph that this towel absorbs significantly more water than the bamboo towel. I also performed this experiment with an equal area of premium paper towel that supposedly “feels like cloth“, it may rhyme with diva ;-) and that one absorbed about equal amount of water to the bamboo one, not nearly as good as this towel. So while it is significantly thicker in it’s compressed form, you are gaining a considerable amount of absorbency for that extra thickness and that right there is probably enough to win me over to this towel. The towel seems quite strong and durable and will hold up to multiple uses if not abused. It dries quickly I mean really quickly, and I was able to do an entire sink full of dishes with just this towel to dry them off. ( kind of a clever way to trick me into doing the dishes too) I really liked the bamboo ones and I got used to how thin they are, but these new ones have won me over. I really wish they could be compressed a bit thinner, but I can’t see any reason to take off any stars. It certainly doesn’t hurt that they’re five times cheaper than the ones I’ve been using. These towels perform excellently and deliver exactly what they promise at a surprisingly cheap price. As a bonus, if you take them camping, they easily catch fire from a spark. So once it’s too dirty to continue using, you have a very effective are fire starter.

Best toilet paper
US military should seriously consider putting a couple or three of these in every MRE. These are 1) large, 2) sturdy and 3) can be flushed in any toilet (unlike baby wipes). Very convenient and actually as cheap as toilet paper but much more effective and takes up far less space. Ideal if you say, travel to a foreign country that is simply not up to standards with things like toilet paper. Useful for far more as these are durable and won't fall apart in your hand after scrubbing. Useful as a disposable wash cloth. Can be used as a lint free wipe (rehydrate with rubbing alcohol instead of water) to clean electronics, windows, etc.

Tough towels! Super convenient!!
These compressed towelettes are wonderful! They are VERY compact and easy to take along wherever you go. I use them all the time when going anywhere with our kids. After adding a little bit of water, these wipes "puff up" and become tough, durable wipes. I like that these wipes stay compacted in a little disc shape, and don't get dirty or damaged like Kleenex in travel packages do. The only difficulty with these towels, is that you need to add water before you can use them (they cannot be pulled apart to use as a dry wipe). They cannot be used to wipe up a child's messy face or hands without "reconstituting" them first. I rarely find this to be a problem, as I always carry water bottles with me. Overall, I recommend this product. Please mark if you find my review helpful. Thank you so much!

Awesome, wonderful and where have you been all my life?
This is the best thing since mom's apple pie. I have been showing them off to everyone who is interested. Remember show and tell from grade school, well it's a fun time. I took a picture of your bag, one compressed towel and in front of it is the towel layed out. I tell them all the things and places to use and reuse it. I sent this picture out to all my family and friends. I love it that they are fragrance-free and sturdy. Being biodegradable is a big plus. I think it's a fair price for a great product. I go over the order of usage: wash the hands and face, rinse and let dry. Most gray water activities. Wash with a drop of soap, rinse well, let the towel dry. Then cut the towel in quarters and at the end of its life use as toilet paper, So one sheet has all day usages before it's put to its rest in the garbage or fire. So a package of 40 towels can be turned into 160 wipes. Throw them in your car, purse, camping gear, emergency bug out bags. Anywhere a human being needs to be these should be with you. I have one suggestion: offer different sizes of quantities available to choose from. Right now it's a bag of 4, how about a bag of 10, 20 etc. Offer several different quantities to choose from. Thank you for a great and needed product.
