California Costumes Wizard Staff

I love the look of the staff as well as the length which feels just Right, I was slightly disappointed about the fact it's 3 flimsy plastic tubes pulled together too create a staff with little to no internal structure making me worry about it breaking if I plant it on the ground hard in an impressive wizardly way. However it serves its purpose well while being relatively cheap.

The item itself I give 2 stars but I added another for excellent service. The item shipped very quickly and the return was processed the moment I dropped it in the mail. Speedy quick with no hassles.However, Stick was cheap plastic that just slid together from 3 pieces to 1 with only a cheap elastic band to hold them together. There's a reason it is not shown in the picture. The description states that the pieces snap together but they do not. The stick straight up looked like cheap plastic and there was no design to speak of to make it look any better. If the pieces slide locked together somehow it would have been way better but once that elastic pops your staff is no more unless you glue it together.The ball on top reminded me of a ball from a ball pit at chuck e cheese that was just glued on top, and the dragon was loosely glued to the stick. The picture makes it look way better than it actually is. That soft translucent glow of the ball in the picture does not exist and the dragon in the picture also appears to be of higher quality than the actual product too.I feel like this item would have broken by the end of trick or treating.To me this staff is only worth half the price.The design and construction would have made it good for a child's costume but for me it was going to bring my whole costume down.

Lights up, arrival quickly

Ordered this to complete my wizard costume for a Halloween party. Received the product in a timely fashion after ordering. Expected a bit more for $40+. The globe is scuffed and scratched. The pole itself is a flimsy plastic. Received with dead batteries. Not an issue as batteries are cheap, but it was a few days before I remembered to buy the AAA's I needed to test. Replaced the batteries and was disappointed to find that the activation button to make the globe light up works sporadically and takes multiple clicks to make it light up at times. I think the whole item looks cool for an accompanying prop, but I was expecting a bit more for the price. I'm keeping it because my party is a couple days away, but I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. Also, I will check for the company name before I buy anything else like this and not buy from them.

Husband love's it but said it is easy to break the leg on it. The price it cost you could use something more sturdy as the leg on it.

I think this staff is really cool! It’s very tall, and light works perfect. I do wish the dragon had some dimension to it, but that’s an easy fix

Looked good but my first one would not turn on so I replaced the batteries it came with for still not working, returned it & got another (no replace item choice on Amazon!?) the next one stays lit for approximately 6 seconds and with no time to try replacing again which seems to be a crapshoot anyhow I kept & used it for the holiday.A bit pricey to be so dicey.

This thing is tall as heck. I was not expecting it to be this tall. Its about five feet tall. Maybe a little over that. It is kinda plastic looking, but I wasn't going for some Hollywood set staff. The light up color is more blue than purple, but it still looks cool when it glows. Overall, I enjoyed my purchase.
