How do you get it inflated ?

You can fill this with air, using a drinking straw, although it will not float, so you would hang it from the ceiling or use a balloon stick. If you want it to float you would use helium. You can get it inflated in most grocery stores, Walmart, dollar stores, florists, etc. Or you can call your local welding company and rent a helium tank if you are inflating many balloons. Or you can take it to your local party store and inflate there or rent a helium tank. You inflate this by inserting the helium inflation nozzle, a gold flat needle, and insert near the tail portion of the balloon. Do not inflate with a black latex inflator as it will hurt the self-sealing feature of the ballon. When the balloon is inflated it self-seals and you just add a ribbon and weight to tie it down.

Will this stand up straight with just air (not helium) and a balloon stick?

Its too big for a balloon stick. You could hang from ceiling or stick to wall. The party store charged me full price (same price as if i had purchased the balloon and had it filled there) to fill with helium.
