I was surprised by how much I like this! It feels really good on my scalp and it’s better than the travel ones in my opinion. One of my favorite hairbrushes right now.

My second brush. The bristles do bend over time but the brush feels good on your head, so I'll continue using these.

Great Brush

My hair is fine, long, and straight; it tangled badly when I washed it. Therefore, I own a large collection of various detangling brushes, but Tangler Teezer Ultimate Detangler Brush is my clear favorite. I have the same brush, which is now 6-years old, and I use it daily as a detangling brush right after hair wash and as a normal brush for dry hair. I know that this brush is made from a good-quality plastic, because it has lasted for years despite heavy use, which I can not say about my detangling brushes from other brands or no-name brands that made brushes similar in form as Tangler Teezer.The brush is very lightweight and very comfortable to use. The brush length is 21 cm, where the part with bristles measures 11x6 cm. There are two-tiered teeth/bristles with 1 and 2 cm length. This brush is very easy to clean with warm water. However, I do not like to take it on vacation, as bristles of my old brush got bent in my luggage, so now I am more careful about bristles. With time, rounded-tip bristles become nicely soft on scalp. The new brush, of course, has bristles that seem firmer than those in my old one, but it’s a nice firmness that massages my head without scratching.My new brush comes as a “midnight silver”, a dark-grey color with metal shine, so beautiful that my husband said me that “It looks like a brush for men, and you already have a pink one, so you should give it to me“. I like this new brush very much, and I am absolutely confident that I will be using that brush for many years.

I was on the hunt for a new brush that would detangle without making my scalp miserable and help with less breakage. This Tangle Freezer detangling hair brush was a big win for me. My scalp is especially sensitive, so brushing has always been a bit of a struggle. I usually stick to brushes made specifically for detangling, and this one is by far the best I’ve tried. It glides through my hair with almost no effort, and feels gentle, while being effective.The two-tiered bristle lengths really help manage my curly-wavy texture without pulling. It’s very lightweight, easy to handle and does an outstanding job quickly combing through my hair when it’s wet or dry. I also love the sleek chrome finish, it's appealing to look at. The size is another plus, it’s compact enough to easily fit in a drawer or makeup bag. This brush actually feels comfortable combing my hair, it smoothes beautifully and I appreciate that it's designed to support healthy hair with less breakage. Honestly, it’s everything I want in a detangling brush, it’s effective, gentle, and compact. I highly recommend it!

I picked up a Tangle Teezer brush a couple of years ago that was plastic and worked great for my slightly wavy, thick, coarse hair. But I travel with it regularly so it's definitely well-used and it was time to pick up a new one. This chrome one is still made of plastic so it is still light weight, but it gives off a finished heavier feel just because of its metallic coloring. I use this mainly on wet hair or slightly damp hair. On dry hair, it does work on tangles but it can pull on my larger knots and it's not comfortable so I prefer to use my boar bristle brush for that. This is good as an everyday brush though! Price is good for a quality item that you know will last for several years.

The flexible, multi-length bristles glide effortlessly through hair, making detangling a breeze with no unnecessary tugging or pulling. It works beautifully on both dry and wet hair, especially after applying conditioner.While I don’t typically use a brush on my dry hair in its natural state (2C type of hair), my tween daughter loves it for her fine 2C/3A hair. She uses it every morning to get rid of tangles before reactivating her curls with water.My only complaint is the metallic finish that shows every smudge and fingerprint. Nevertheless, this brush performs so well that it still deserves a full five-star rating.

This brush does detangle easily, and it would be fine if not for the fact that the longer bristles are scratchy, not necessarily sharp but not blunt either. My sensitive scalp doesn't like the pointy end of the long bristles. It detangles, it is fairly gentle as far as pulling is concerned. This brush is a charcoal chrome color. It is shaped to look like it has an air pad style but it does not. the brush base itself is fully plastic and is not flexible in any way. The bristles are also plastic no silicone or boar bristle. The long bristles are flexible, while the shorter bristles are just slightly less flexible. The concept is correct but the overall design is a fail for me.
