This item is definitely worth 5 stars. Purchased 10 months ago as I had hip surgery scheduled and with getting up in the middle of the night, I did not want to trip over my black dog or 2 cats. The light works perfectly and shuts itself off as it should. I only need to recharge it ever4-6 weeks if that and it recharges very quickly with the cord provided. The rail has been a Godsend in helping me get in and out of bed and turn over. The rail is soft yet solidly padded and yet does not slip when using. The bed rail has not moved from original position placed. It was easy to assemble with concise directions. Took about five minutes. It is very stable and well worth the money.

Bought for my mother in law. It fits on the bed well and enables her to get up easier. Only hard thing for her is the light needs to be recharged via usb and she forgets about that. Though, even that is super easy to do. Sturdy and in place on the bed well. Very good purchase.

Great for price. Assembly instructions were a bit sketchy. Typical China product. Quality seems fine, particularly for the price. The fit is adjustable but within a very specific range. I needed the mattress bar to floor distance to be less, so a hacksaw made easy work of shortening the legs 2 inches. I knew from the outset I would have to modify it for my use, but it worked fine.

I believe this product is going to work well for me. At the age of almost 76, I don't know why I've started falling out of bed. Must be my age-related second childhood. Anyway, since I don't want to break any bones, I figured I should do something to keep myself in bed. This is working fine, and was easy to install.

I purchased this after herniating a disc in my back.This was such a good purchase. It was really easy to put together and very stable. It has a pouch on the side which is really great - I don't use the pouch to put thing in but it does stop things from falling off the bed.It's really strong between the mattress and the bed. I use the rail to get out of bed but I also use it to roll over.If you're thinking about purchasing a rail, this is a great one. The height is adjustable so It feels like it would fit most beds. I measured first knowing that it had a wide range of height.This rail is a really decent price and worth all the money I spent on it. I only wish it was a little bit wider but I'm very happy with this product, overall.

I bought this to help after knee surgery. The quality is great! It was easy to put together and easy to put in place. I have used it to pull myself up and it has held up well. I highly recommend it!
