Beaphar FIPROtec Spot-On for Extra Large Dogs has genuinely impressed me. My large dog usually struggles with flea treatments, either due to irritation or ineffectiveness, but this worked brilliantly. Application was straightforward and hassle-free—just a quick spot-on the back of the neck, and my dog didn't even notice. Within a couple of days, fleas and ticks were completely eliminated, and the treatment noticeably prevented new infestations for weeks afterwards. Unlike other treatments I've tried, it didn't irritate his skin or leave any unpleasant residue or smell. The only minor drawback is that the pipette design can sometimes be fiddly, but it's really a small inconvenience for how effective the product is. I've always used this brand for my pets and it works for them. I know everyone's pets are different but it's worked for mine. I wouldn't use any other brand. My pets are always happy, no issues with their skin or itching, therefore happy with the result. Easy to do and to store.

Does the job and inexpensive - my dog had a few fleas (less than 5) and this seemed to help get rid of them easily without needing prescription flea treatment

Reading the reviews I had high hopes for this product. The first treatment did not work at all. After the second treatment I was still finding fleas on the dog and in the house, then suddenly they just vanished. So far they have not returned. I have not found a single flea on the dog for several days and only one individual flea in a trap in the house. Either the infestation had already got in the carpets when I started or it takes more than one treatment but yes, after initially thinking it was no good - I have to concede that if you stick with it for a couple of treatments this stuff actually does seem to work. I have the central heating on now so they would be breeding like nad if it didn't work, but there's not a flea to be seen. I think I've found a product that actually works and doesn't cost the £160 my vet wanted for 4 months worth.

This does well for the control of fleas as in preventing an infestation . However it’s no substitute for going to the vets when needed . I’m not sure how effective it would be for an infestation. But I use this when I have forgot to order from the vets . The vets stuff is more potent in my experience .

Bought these for my German Shepherd it’s the first time I have used them worked really well and didn’t have a weird smell to them like all the ones I have used. It did not irritate my dog. She did not scratch at them and she did not get a rash there was no smell to it, which I really liked and I guess my dog like that too perfect item just exactly what it does on the tin. I have re-bought this item many times since

This worked for 3 weeks on my 1kg puppy then she had fleas again.
