Easy to install and works great. No leaks. The retainer rings did not work so I just used the old one. No deal breaker. Will order again if I ever have any leaks on my other faucets.

Looking into replacing different bath components in my 34 year old house, I kept seeing these and thought about a hard to pull knob in a bathroom. I thought I'd give it a try to fix it. Removing was tricky. I watched videos on removing without a specialized tool, which I almost always prefer to do if possible to save a buck. I got kind of impatient after a little while and worried I'd break something, so got the tool. It then came out with only a little effort. The new cartridge was nearly identical to what had been originally installed for the old Moen standard type valve. Putting it in was easy. For some reason, I really liked the pin that holds it in place, ha. Make sure you replace that! The knob works so much more smoothly now!

This was a perfect fit for a 19 year old bathtub faucet that also controls the shower with the lever on the tub spout. With the removal tool, we finally got out the old control, with lots of broken seal matter, cleaned out the spout thoroughly, and inserted the new control. Perfect fit, easy to insert, clip fit perfect. When we turned the water back on, quite surprised that there was a lower flow coming either from the tub spout or shower. Checked again for foreign material in the spout, nothing. Wish we had know this before using this control, may have used the other one since they both fit according to Moen.

This worked great. The shower faucet no longer drips. I did need to get the tool (separately) to help remove it. It wasn’t coming out without that. The clips also didn’t quite fit right so I reused the original. The most important thing was stopping the drip!!

Had a leaky tub faucet and I had purchased the genuine Moen replacement. After installing it, I still had a leaky tub faucet. After reading another customer's review, he had recommended this product. Out of the box the build quality is much more impressive on this aftermarket product than the Moen cartridge. The leak was fixed after installing this cartridge. Throw in replacement retainer clips and at almost half the price I paid for the Moen cartridge and this one takes the cake.
