Tea Infuser Tumbler Travel Mug, Double Wall Glass Bottle, Stainless Steel Strainer for Loose Leaf Tea and Fruit Water – 12 Ounce

I ordered two of these in September for Christmas gifts. Just opened them now to be sure they were OK before gifting. One was fine. The other had the metal tea infuser so tightly wedged in that I couldn't budge it. I pulled on the little metal handle to lift out the infuser, and the handle popped off/broke off. No getting it back on. Then, I decided I would keep this one for myself, and it wouldn't matter if I experimented a bit. So I tried putting hot water in it, cold water in it. No go. Then I tried to take a pick, a small screwdriver, needlenose pliers, in that order, to get the infuser out. Nope. The small screwdriver, which was small but sturdy actually moved it up a notch on one side, so it was lopsided. I thought I had a chance. The screwdriver was seriously bent. I straightened the screwdriver out a bit and could almost insert the tip between the inside of the glass and the infuser. Not quite. I decided maybe if I punched out the infuser, I could just use the thing as a nice glass tumbler. I was able to punch a hole in the bottom mesh of the infuser, then tried to pull the whole apparatus out with pliers. Still nope. Then I tried inserting the screwdriver between the glass and infuser again. The infuser was now crumpling inward, so I was very hopeful that I could pull it out. Then the glass shattered. And I gave up. Sorry I wasted my money on this. I'm afraid to give the other one as a gift now, because if the infuser gets accidentally shoved too far down inside the tumbler, it will be the same problem all over again. And, of course, it is way after the return window has closed to return either one, since I bought them on a special deal months in advance, to save for Christmas. Ugh.

Keeps tea hot/warm for a WHILE! A removable SS infuser/strainer (to hold tea leaves or a bag) rests on an interior rim just under the lid. The perforations are as fine as any infusing 'funnel' I have used. The lid is HDPE having a SS 'drop down cap (which is all that contacts the fluids - so no taste transfers! The threads and 'rim seal' of cap are bare HDPE to make a reliable seal. The outside of cap may appear chrome plated (aka automobile trim) but it is NOT!. Upon examination with magnifying glass the cap is covered by thin SS sheet, formed & pressed!Out of excess caution (I LOVE this) I keep mine in a shock-absorbing cover to protect from breakage. Most borosilicate takes bumps very well, I'm just being cautious coz this is not cheap... WORTH the cost.

I just received my tea infuser, and I have to say I am very pleased!!! I have tried many and none compare to the look, feel, and ease of use of this one. It is beautiful and functional. The size is perfect and I like to see my tea blooming in the water, not hidden in a basket. It is pretty heavy, but I like that. Sturdy and elegant. Love that it is glass, yet the double walled construction keeps it from burning your hand, and it’s easy to clean! A great find!

It’s just cheaply made and looks cheap. The basket broke and I don’t mean the handle came lose from it (Bc that’s intended) I mean ripped the flimsy material. They were kind enough to refund me. The glass is ok and for its price it’s not horrible but just don’t gift it bc you’d look cheap. If you have a basket to swap out then go for it for the price

Appears to be good quality construction - the lid fits snug - although a bit on the crooked side but does not leak - just the way the threads were done. Keeps liquid hot and hands cool - good thermal properties. The design and colour are nicely done - simple with a bit of elegance. Price right. It is double wall glass - so need to be careful not to crack - recommend using a sleeve for travel.

Love the tumbler and it kept my tea hot, but it fell about 15 feet from my desk onto a carpeted surface and broke.

The top is hard to open and is somewhat airtight to the point that you cannot open it.
