It was significantly cheaper than a new version, and it was in excellent condition. Only signs of wear were some minor scuffs on the base near the casters, which don’t affect function and you can only see if you flip the chair upside down. The replaced cushion is very comfortable, which was a concern I had about some of the reviews for the chair straight from the manufacturer. There is a lot of adjustment options compared to cheaper office chairs. The arm pads were a bit hard for my tennis elbow, but I placed some cheap memory foam covers over them, and they’re perfect now. Review: The Leap V2 is a tried and true office chair that's been on the market since 2006. Before purchasing I read posts from people who have been using it for 15+ years, and some other chairs from Steelcase for longer. So I have no worries about the longevity of this chair. Adjustable lean, height, 4 way arm rests, lumbar, etc. As for this product specifically, the Crandall Remanufactured Leap V2, I couldn't be happier. They actually IMPROVED it with a slightly thicker cushion and more durable fabric, on top of all the parts they completely replace. As a result, it looks fresh and brand new, and comfortable for hours. Overall, it's a great value on a very functional chair.

I’ve been using this chair for a few weeks now, and overall I’m really happy with it. The comfort is top-notch — great support for long hours, and the adjustment options make it easy to dial in the right fit. Size-wise, it works well for my setup and doesn’t feel bulky. Stability is decent, though there’s a bit of wiggle in some parts that doesn’t quite match the premium price tag. For $700, I expected a bit more solid build quality. That said, it looks sleek and professional, and the firmness is just right — not too stiff, not too soft. If comfort is your top priority and you don’t mind spending a bit more, this chair delivers. Just be aware that the build might not feel quite as high-end as the price suggests.

Chair is basically brand new like the other people have said, Shipping was ULTRA fast, 2 day shipping. Amazon initially said 5-6 days. Took around 8-9minutes for me to put it together (Comes in 2 parts basically). When I first sat down on it, was already happy knowing this is an upgrade over my race car gaming chair. The seat is thick and firm, not too firm. You'll sink into it a bit depending on your weight. I like the thickness/firm feeling because I feel like it won't bottom out as fast as a thinner pad would. The arms are adjustable completely, they aren't soft but the build quality is nice. Also, they have a resistance to them so you have to give it a push to move it inwards / outwards (Which means it's well built and sturdy). The frame is practically new, you can tell they really clean it up for you. Upon receiving you'll think it's a new chair, new fabric, cushion and more. For the back, personally I didn't like the lumbar support so I took it out, (Felt too pushy and thick, probably due to my poor posture) and the back frame already has a curve to it to give your back support. They provide a video on how to remove the lumbar support on Youtube. Overall, day one I'm very happy. I can rock in it and keep a reclined position if I'd like, and you really feel fitted to the frame and seat, basically like you aren't going anywhere and strapped in. Another good thing is the warranty, I'm not sure if they replace stuff in the future for free like the seat, but It's cool knowing they have a good support team to ship whatever you need later on. For my Height, I'm 5'9 And around 195 Pounds. The size of the frame and chair is literally a perfect fit.

For years, I had one of those "big and tall" executive chairs that killed my back over time. It was so soft that you could sink into it like a couch. It was high time that I got something new and more supportive. I settled on getting this chair after trying out the Leap at my local Steelcase store. The one at the store seemed to have excellent back support and adjustability, so I was excited to try this at home. To be honest, it was a big adjustment for me coming from a soft chair. I used to get really sore from sitting for 1-2 hours. My main hobby is gaming, so I need to be able to sit for 6+ hours at a time. I ended up buying an extra seat cushion to throw on top of it when I had long gaming sessions. After a few months though, I stopped having this issue. My body got used to the firmness of the seat, and now it feels quite comfortable to relax in all day without the extra cushion. My back feels so much better now. I'm very glad that I stuck it out long enough to see the benefits. Some nitpicks: I didn't like the hard plastic arm rests and the seat fabric, which felt too abrasive against my skin when wearing shorts. I fixed these issues by getting arm rest pillows and a new seat cover with a softer texture. These made a huge difference in my level of comfort. I'm also in the process of ordering a Leap headrest to give my neck more support. Overall, I'm quite happy and would recommend this if you're looking for a good back support chair. You just might have to give it time, or make a few tweaks, to find the best comfort.
