Q: Measurement for one size?

The Victoria hat measures 22 5/8" or 58cm, which corresponds to a size 7 1/4. The best way to find out what size your head is is to find a string and place one end on your forehead (where a hat would sit) and wrap the string around your head and then back to the spot on your forehead. Measure the length of that circumference against a ruler, and that will give you your size! All Wallaroo Hats (except the Aqua Hat) have an internal drawstring to fit the hat to your head. If your head is smaller than the above size, the hat will fit. If your head is larger, the hat will not be comfortable. Contact us about options for bigger sizes for women's hats.

Q: Is the hat "breathable" as I don't like my head perspiring very much?

Yes! It has become my go to hat, and I plan to buy another. It keeps the sun off, keeps my head cool, and I can count on compliments every time I wear it.

Q: does this hat have a upf rating, like some of the other wallaroo hats have? if so, what is it?

Hi there, the Victoria is actually not rated UPF 50+. The weave of the hat is tight around the brim, which provides great protection for the neck and face, but the weave in the crown is loose - great breath ability. Because of the loose weave in the crown, we can not classify it as UPF50+, but it still provides great protection.

Q: Can I wash my hat in a front load washing machine? It is very dirty.
