Mini Pan/Tilt Camera Platform Anti-Vibration Camera Mount w/ 2 Servos Aircraft FPV

Servo burned out in seconds of use. Servo horns need a little love to fit. Super ez. On the short arm up top for tilt just use the smaller horn shaped like it. Cut off the end so the tip is at the mounting hole. I used scissors. Fast and trimmed a round edge. Then just go around the sides and the tip with a sanding block. Bottom one is the cross style. Just hit the side edges with sanding block and it slides in. Whole thing with fitting took maybe 30 minutes to assemble and never done one before. Looks decent for the money.

No assembly cart, you have to guess. This is not the first time I buy pan tilt platforms for assembly. I kept an old assembly instructions (maybe from other supplier) but the start here was bad. The four arm horn has its longest arms too long. The one arm horn does not fit in its hole, several cuts are needed. Luckily I have a similar platform as an example to follow.

It doesn't come with instructions for assembly. The primary support upper axis (tilt) is only supported by the lower servo horn. Poor design, but, it's functional. 90° is the zero position for the lower axis (pan). 0° is the zero setting for the tilt axis. Set the servos before assembly.

For the money, this isn't bad. Watch the video that other guy made. It's priceless. If you mount this thing upside down, it works better. It's more stable that way. Use the "base" as the camera mount, and the camera mount, as the base. If you mount the gimbal at an angle, you can get it to look up and down, as well as side to side.

Feels fragile. Would not purchase again.

Went together easy enough, except the 1-leg adapter needed for the tilt axis was too large, I had to cut it, not a big issue tho. 1 of 2 servos made a grinding sound for a short while, then the motor slipped loose. Is: 1 servo was basically DOA. I have more servos so again, not a huge issue. All in all, its ok for the price.

Like everyone else said. No instructions, servos are trash, and you have to cut to make servo fit.

I put this on my rc car and threw a camera on top and the servos and tilt funtions were all great had no issues whatsoever.

I ordered two. One came with everything the second was missing a servo. All in all still a awesome kit for pan/tilt fpv.

The item was not good as per the unit the parts is different not matching..

Es una base giratoria típica de plástico , no esperen alta calidad, el brazo para el giro hacia arriba y abajo para la cámara realizado con el motor superior debe usar una pieza de plástico que da soporte al motor, pero debe ser cortada con un exacto (cutter) ya que no ensambla por su tamaño original (se debe cortar un poco en las partes laterales para que embone mejor). Tornillos sobran los de uno de los motores y dos de la base de plástico, sin embargo se pueden usar para fijar la base a una tabla de MDF o madera según donde quieran fijar la base. Viene sin instrucciones, así que solamente a pura vista se va analizando como armarla.

I wasn't expecting much at this price point but what I got was shocking. Strikingly different product than the one in the pictures, cheap nylon servos, brittle plastic and what's worst, as it comes you WILL NOT be able to assemble it. The servo horns DO NOT fit the plastic cut outs., and servo doesn’t fit into the round part. Absolute waste of money

No ayuda en absoluto que el kit venga sin ninguna instrucción, ni imagen de montaje. Al final sobran tornillos y no sabes su destino. Los brazos de los servos no encajan en los alojamientos para lo que están diseñados. Hay que mecanizar las piezas. Con lo cual entorpece su montaje. No hay que esperar que todo el mundo tenga medios, ni tiempo, ni ganas de investigar el montaje. De algo que compras esperando su perfecto estado. Muy decepcionado
