Great Setup for Beginner
Very nice knitting needle set. I was struggling with metal needles, these keep yarn in place while working very well. No more stitches sliding off. I do wish the needles came with small rubber bands or something to keep them together but overall that’s an easy fix. Length is adequate, especially for the circular needles. I’d recommend these to anyone, but especially beginners, rather than metal needles.

Great quality for the quantity
For the price point and quantity of needles and notions, I was worried they would be cheap and easily breakable, but I'm happily surprised. My old knitting needles accidentally got buried deep in storage when I moved and I wanted to find a temporary replacement. There are so many sizes of both regular and circular wooden needles in this kit, and a cute little "tackle box" of stitch markers and needle caps. It would have cost a lot more to buy all of these items from my local Michael's or JoAnn's. I'll likely keep using these for future projects even after I find my old needles in storage. Would definitely recommend!

Nice
This was a really nice set. It came with everything you’d need to start knitting. The only fault I found with it was that it didn’t come with a case and since I felt that it was important to me to have something to contain all the pieces I returned it. Great value though!

So Well worth the $
I was weary, like other reviewers, but holy love! For the money you are getting quite a bit. Heck everything you need to start knitting. They came packaged nicely and secure. The circular needles were held together tightly. The straight needles were packed in individual sleeves, and a box contained everything else! What a plus!ConsThe smaller needles seem to warp with wear. I am ok with this as I like the molding it has formed to my hand. The scissors needed to be sharpened after a couple of projects. Again, I'm ok with this as I used them ALOT. (pom poms)some of the needles needed a little sand paper and wax paper. Really.... so did my Clovers! At the end of the day I would buy these again and again! Hell when I wear these out I'll buy another set! Why not the price is right!

Good for beginners, but remember that quantity doesn't mean quality
Good: you get a lot of needles and notions with this kit, so if you are just starting out, it can be really handy in terms of not finding yourself mid-project and in need of a yarn needle or measuring tape, or something else you didn't consider because you're just starting and figure all you need is yarn and needles.Less good: The quality is not great. I am only using the 8mm needles so far, and there is a glue spot on one of them where the yarn catches. Fine for the beginner who is working on mastering stitches and getting a consistent technique down, because you will be (or should be) using cheap yarn - but if you are a veteran, and spend any appreciable money on quality yarn, this is going to drive you nuts (I am a novice knitter, but my mother was a magnificent knitter, and I learned to appreciate her mysterious craft and its tools from an early age.) The smaller needles are very flimsy - they seem like they would snap in a second if you had half an inclination, or are accident-prone. I can't speak to the quality of the circular needles since I haven't made it that far in my lessons yet but I expect I will have upgraded before I get to that point. If you take good care, this set isn't a terrible investment for someone who is interested in knitting but isn't sure they'll *get* it - you don't have to lay out a ton of money for something you end up abandoning a month down the road (and even the possibility of yarn catching on poorly glued needles isn't necessarily a deal-breaker as long as you approach these needles as practice needles and use cheap yarn.) But if you're experienced and just looking for an all-inclusive set, don't let yourself get carried away by the great price you're likely better off investing in a more expensive set, or getting needles as needed with each project you start.

The circular needles are much more easier to use than traditional needles with the wires.
The circular needles are great, the tube attached to both needles is very flexible and makes knitting easier. The other items are just the icing on the top.

5 star for beginners
I have knit and crochet, mainly knit. This has been a life saver with their knitting needles, hand clippers, measuring tape, marker clips, and the needle end tip cones. I had cut up the plastic wiring to use them as smaller project needles like sock making, scrunchies, and just fragile strips. ( I have better quality made from real bamboo so i was not in need of them.) I am in love with the wooden straight knitting needles; lightweight, good feel on my hands (especially since i have issues with my hands). The only flaw for me has been the hand clippers, they get dulled down easily but i'm not super picky. I can undo the tension and freely sharpen the blades and use and abuse them until i need to replace them. The best kit for beginners, especially those who are trying to test their skills and to see if this is a hobby they would like to keep! Remember, do what makes you happy and remember, there are people who don't understand the concept of this hobby as something therapeutic for some.
