I'm writing this review to help someone perhaps having the same problem as i do. I've been having gray hair since high school and it's gotten worse and worse by year, especially when I'm under stress. I've always hated it but didn't bother to cover it because going to salon for this would cost so much and i'd need to go every couple of months. Lately I have some free time, and one Youtuber I followed recommended this, so thought I could try and see what are all the fuss about. Luckily, this really works to cover my gray. And the color i bought is not super black, it looks just like my natural black color! (3.5 NNN darkest brown Raveena Brown) No one can even tell I've dyed my hair. I can still see a few gray hair but i feel it's because i didn't apply evenly enough on that layer. This is my first time doing it at home, and I have to say it's such a mess and so exhausting to hold your arms up for that long. It'd be much better if you have someone help you and apply it more evenly to get better result. I'm already beyond satisfied with how the final result looks but i think i can do better next time. The reason i'm giving 4 stars is that i feel 1. the bottle is not the easiest to squeeze, the first two squeezes are always just air. And if you are doing it on your own, it's hard to see whether or not, or how much cream you have squeezed out on top of your head. 2. It really should include one more pair of gloves, one more packet of protection cream, and one more cleansing wipe! It would help make the cleaning up much easier. 3. It feels a little itchy when having the cap on. I left it on for about 35 min, and I can feel the tingling on my head and was very eager to wash it off. All in all, I'd buy again and do it more regularly. I like looking into the mirror and not see gray unless i go look for it! I hope it can last at least two months.

I am going back to ordering a single package as the last two times I have gotten the 2 pack there has only been one pair of gloves and not two and they tape it with tough tape. They cut corners and the gloves get cheaper and cheaper. ** Got the single pack and they still are coming in a generic box with only one set of gloves. Going back to L'Oreal because I still have to buy gloves.

Love this. Subscribed for the discount & keeping the subscription. My color is 2 shades lighter than black & I usually have trouble dying it too dark. This brand/shade is perfect. No troubles at all. Covers grays too. Finally back to my younger self in the mirror:) Comes with everything you need in the box 👍

I’ve included a picture. This is the first time dying my hair. I tried it with another brand of a more natural product from the store shelf. I had an immediate reaction. I was nervous about trying this Madison Reed in Ravana . I just can’t stand the gray though. I did a patch test on my arm and it was okay so I went through with the process. I had no reaction to the product at all. Some thoughts from the experience are. 1. I went too dark. I’ll go down a shade next time. 2. Prepare well. Have a trash can open and handy. Cover your sink. If you get dye on the sink, alcohol worked for me. 3. Use the barrier cream all over your face and neck because you might just get some dye on those areas. I did! 4. Rinse well. I thought I did but my pillow case says otherwise. 5. Wear a cover. Overall I’m pleased with the results and will buy again. It covered gray and left my hair healthy looking. update 3 days later. The short thin face framing gray hair is back! Very sad.
