I read the other reviews before ordering and wanted to gauge it for myself. They have a perfect balance of seasoning in every bite. The jalapeño powder almost fully covers the cashew flavor in a good way. Think flavored sunflower seeds with seasoning inside the shells. My stomach unfortunately cannot handle anything hotter than jalapeños anymore. I have had to stop myself from eating the whole bag in one sitting!

Spicy jalapeno cashews create a pleasant buzz in the mouth but nothing uncomfortable or any long lasting heat. Of course it is subjective how much spice a person finds excessive, so that should be considered before ordering. I like hot but not excessively hot foods and for me this product is on the low end of the scale – the heat is mild.The taste is heavy on jalapeno, onion and garlic powder but none of it overpowers the cashews naturally delicious flavor. Sodium is 150mg so it is definitely present but the nuts do not seem overly salty. Nuts are high in fat, so 12 grams per one ounce serving is not surprising.Protein level is good for a snack food at five grams per serving, nine grams carbohydrate, one gram of fiber and there is a small amount of sugar added (two grams) although they do not taste sweet.They are delicious alone but are excellent paired with a cold beverage, sharp cheese or in salads. Shelf stable, the bag I received from prime pantry has a “best before” date 10 months in the future.

The mild cashew flavor seemed to be totally eclipsed by the jalapeno flavor/heat. Plus I got tired of the flavor combination about half way through the bag and ended up giving the rest to my dad.

Taste is best I could get. But too pricy. Should be 3.99 or so, not buying again.

Damn these are good. Love these cashews and enjoy the spicy bite added. I was afraid they were going to be too hot but they are not. I have to be careful and limit myself to only a small amount otherwise I know I could eat the whole bag in one sitting if I'm not paying attention. Fat and Sodium are not my friends with me getting up there in years. But you have to live a little once in a while.

Pro: Cashews are pretty tastyCon: There's no jalapeno flavor. Or salt.In short: I wish Blue Diamond would start making cashew products with the same flavors are their almonds.
