Many years ago I drank a private label (think subscription only) ganoderma coffee, and have been looking for a similar one since they are no longer around. I came across this one and figured I'd give them a try. What did I have to lose, right? The coffee itself isn't robust or necessarily strong, so I use two packets for my travel mug. I'm usually a cream and sugar type of coffee drinker and I was prepared to add some, as oftentimes the "lattes" only provide a hint of both, but this one has enough that I didn't need feel the need to. Admittedly, the taste is what's going to throw you off a bit, but only because it's different - not because it's bad. Give it about three or four sips and your tastebuds will recognize and accept it. I'm not sure about the ganoderma quality or content, nor have I had enough to attest to any possible health benefits, as I'm using this as more as a way to get me through some extra long nights. Overall it's decent and very handy to take extra packets to work or for travel.
