Q: Does this work any different than those shampoo brushes?

The teeth are smaller and of a harder plastic material which gives better exfoliation of the scalp than other silicone types.

It seems to distribute produces well and gives a good massage; but does feel a bit harder compared to other scalp massage or shampoo brushes.

Q: How do you use this? Do you just brush your hair, or swirl it on your scalp like a massage?

I use it in the shower when my hair is wet and/or with shampoo or conditioner. I put my index, middle, and ring fingers in it and really work my scalp. It is a scalp exfoliator, and loosening up your scalp increases blood flow and relaxes your whole body. IT IS FABULOUS! It holds up well traveling and cleans up like a charm.

Q: Does this help with hair growth? I read some scalp massagers help with hair growth but was wondering if this does too.

I bought it for hair growth too. Circulation and blood flow lead to hair growth, and this is very invigorating, so I’m sure it will help. I’ve been using it with my stimulating oils (peppermint, tea tree, rosemary, castor oil, MSM) for scalp massage three times a week and when I shampoo. It’s been about a month and I think my hair is growing well.
