No hooks in package.

The velcro straps are adjustable so I have it mounted at 45 degree angle from ceiling ac cooling vent outward to blow away from intake vent side. It works fine, wish it had a couple of adjustable side panel flaps to divert some air sideways and not all via one flat panel. And velcro straps could be about 2-3" longer. Otherwise serves its purpose.

This device solves a problem we had. A ceiling AC vent over the bed would blow cold air and wake up my wife when it came on at night. We couldn't turn off the AC or open a window because it would become too hot (Las Vegas). This simple device blocks the direct air flow without affecting the cooling power. Easy to assemble, and it works perfectly.

These are good quality, easy to assemble and offer a simple way to redirect air flow from cheap standard outlets. They make air balancing between rooms a much easier task.
