The Food & Drug Administration (FDA) implemented new standards for how the ‘Nutrition Facts’ label is displayed and the way certain nutrients are measured. We use it not only because it provides sweetness, but it also works to bind our bars together and acts as a natural preservative, as we don’t use any chemical preservatives.
