When I switched my bulldog/pit mix over to a new dog food he developed some skin issues, most obviously the skin on the inside of his ears became red, inflamed and almost scaly. The vet agreed it wasn't an ear infection or yeast and suggested it was a food allergy and recommended I switch back to his old food. I treated his ears with coconut oil, but they didn't seem to be improving at all as I made the gradual diet switch. I ordered this Skin Soother and applied it twice the first day and by day two I could already see a giant improvement. By day 4 I have only been spot treating a remaining few flakey areas but it looks 95% better and he is so much more comfortable. His feet get a little irritated with seasonal allergies this time of year, so after his "paw spa" last night I rubbed a bit of this skin soother in between his toes and they look fantastic this morning. I like the smell of it and he doesn't seem bothered by it all and hasn't tried to lick it off. I'm super pleased with the ointment texture of this product, which I feel helped rehydrate and protect the new healing skin. I'm excited to have found a natural steroid free solution that works.

It works. My dog has pink pads and pink skin and in winter she will get spots that she licks. But I apply this and it heals then up in a couple of days if she leaves then alone. I call it her booboo salve so unfortunately she now hates the word booboo. It has a nice earthy natural smell and is easy to apply.

Dog's ears were dry, reddish and scaling slightly. It improved dramatically to a health pink two days after applying this.
