There are so many of these "other" brand ESCs and motors that are available, but this is the first that actually looks to be quality. The motor shaft is a very hard steel, and the bearing that is visible is an actual Japanese name brand, an NMB, a nice surprise. Seems to do just fine with a 3s lipo. I measured about 4950rpm through an 8.28:1 gear reduction, so seems completely inline with the 3600kv rating. I also purchased this brand's programming card, and there are 2 settings on the card that are not documented in the ESC instructions (boost timing and turbo timing), and there are also just 2 more settings that aren't documented in the programming card or ESC instructions (ESC instructions go to setting 11, card goes to 13, but there is also settings 14 and 15 when you actually use the programming card).
